Payments missed with T&C

I have run into a bad situation and need some advice. I have 8 pd loans consolidated with T&C. I got behind about 6 weeks ago and I have been paying them 2 weeks behind since then. There has not been enough money to catch them up. They have been ok with this so far.

Now the problem- our hot water heater busted this weekend and had to be replaced. Now I do not have the money to pay T&C until the 1st. So that would make me running one month behind. I do not want to lose all that I have already paid in. I also do not want to start getting all the calls and stuff from the creditors who are just now starting to leave me alone. I just do not know what to do.

There is no one I can ask to help me out or borrow the money from. I have no alternatives. Can someone give me any ideas- or at least tell me what will happen with T&C. I am afraid to call them!

Crystal,

Call T&C and see what they say. You may get some calls but I would just forward the messages to T&C and let them take care of it. If at all possible try to make extra payments when you get caught up and they can get your pdl's caught up for you. We got a little behind and are trying to get caught up this month. They can tell you how far behind you are. Take care and keep your head up, it will get better, I promise. :)

It is just so upsetting. I am trying to may back the money I borrowed. But I don't have the extra $320 a month that I am paying. So I somehow squeak it out at the expense of other things, and then something major happens and I am just out of luck.

It is so frustrating knowing that I have probably paid these loans off 10x over with all the fees I have paid. I just don't seem to be getting anywhere trying to get some of them dismeissed. I do not have the time that I need to devote to it. I have to work during the day to have money to get by.

I sure hope T&C doesn't boot me from the program. I sure cannot afford to deal with a lawsuit or any other bad thing these creditors may throw my way.
