Can anyone tell me if you can still qualify for a home loan with a current IRS debt? Currently, my spouse and I are in payment arrangements with the IRS for income tax debt. We have been paying successfully; however we are trying to figure out if this debt needs to be paid in full before even applying for a mortgage or if that is necessary. Any help is appreciated. :?:

Yes, you should ask a mortgage lender. Why don't you PM kalevala
Yes, you should ask a mortgage lender. Why don't you PM kalevala316, I think she belongs to mortgage industry. She can help you figure it out. However, I would say that with an IRS debt that you are paying off, you might receive a loan with higher interest. Also check your PM, I have sent you some info.
