This is United Legal a Collection company.
They also have several class action lawsuites against them for violation of the fair debt collection act...

This number is for Aspire Visa and they are located in Gurgaon India. They have heard of the fdcpa, but do not understand it. They have been calling a friend of mine 4-5 times a day. They have been given the toll free phone number to CCCS where she has turned over her debts. She is 80 years old and we have recorded her giving them the number two times. They simply ignore her which is a violation of FDCPA.

Now if these Indians are going to do the job, shouldn't they know how to do the job? I have 7 years experience as a bill collector and they are committing violations of the FDCPA 1000's of times a day.

1. They simply use a dialing system that rings your phone 1 or 2 times then hangs up 4-5 times a day. (that's 2 violations of FDCPA).

2. They simply continue to call when they are given legally acceptable alternatives (IN THE USA). (that's 1 violation).

I hope people will seek attorney's and shut them down with law suits. My friend owes them $18, but by now, they will be lucky if they ever get it because of their behavior.

This co is a collection agency that does comply with the fdcpa laws, i have already faxed them inof and informed them not to call me in writing via fax and they still intend on calling me i will be reporting them to the ftc for violating the fdcpa laws, they give collection agency a bad name with there harassment. I have spoken to 3 managers over there and the manager dont seem to care i suggest to place a aomplint if youare being harassed they can be fined to up to 100k depending on the violation. They are not allowed to call you place of employment if you have told them that it interferes with your job or your co does not allow personal calls they are not allowed to call you more then once every 7 days i suggest you to sent a letter in writing via fax or mail/

I dont know why they calling me. I dont even have their card! Ive never had their card and they arent on my credit.

I changed my cell phone 2 weeks ago, and the 1800 number "1800-573-1039" keeps calling me. i get 1-2 calls every day and I receive a recording that gives me the number to call. I called once to find out why 1800 number was calling me because I had known that nobody had my #. They immediately asked for my social security number and name. I refused and demanded that they provide me with a name of their company and they hang up. DO NOT GIVE THEM INFO. Ive asked my phone company to block the number but they cant. What can I do?

guest, don't answer it. Obviously they're not legit if that's how they answer the telephone. Good Lord! My cell phone company also won't block calls for me. So, don't answer it when you see the number. Eventually (sometime) they will stop calling once they can't reach you. And, you're right, don't give them any information whatsoever.

They will call me about 5-7 times a day and never leave a message. According to the texas state finance code that is against the law to call someone that many times.

800-573-1039 calls me about 10 times daily. i finally called them back and they wanted to know my address and last 4 of my soc. sec. #. these sand blasters need to go start another civil war amonst their neighboring tribe and leave all of us alone.

I have created a database of a lot of these numbers that come into our phones. That includes our familys cell system. I have turned off the ringers on each of the phones that recieve such for each number. Including blocked the calls on our main home phone for such types of calls. This includes blocked numbers and no caller ID calls. As Caller ID was enacted to protect the consumer of those individuals stocking people. These collection agencies not only violate federal law but they call at all hours nor do they respect life at all. I nearly had a accident on the highway and they did not give a hang whether I was okay or not. SO IF THEY COME TO MONTANA I WILL FIND A VERY DEEP MINE SHAFT AND HANG THEM OVER THE HOLE AND MAKE SURE THEY DROP INTO THE ABYSS.
