Carson City Nevada AG office

I sent a letter to the Carson City AG office about a week ago. While I was out in Wisconsin attending to a family emergency, He called and asked for more information. Surprisingly he stated that the problem with the company I complained about was that they had a license to do business but this was taken away some months ago for bad business practices. I received a letter from the AG that was a copy of the one sent to the company. It states:

NRS 598.0915(15) that indicates that it is an illegal deceptive trade practice to knowingly make a false representation in a transaction involving the sale of goods or services in Nevada. NRS 598.0923(2) indicates that it is an illegal deceptive trade practice to fail to disclose a material fact in connection with the sale or lease of goods or services. NRS 598.092(8) indicates that it is an illegal deceptive trade practice to knoingle misrepresent the legal rights, obligations or remedies of a party to a transaction. From the information received from Ms. Brown, M1Y may be in violation of these or other provisions of NRS Chapter 598, Nevada's deceptive trade statutes.

The following was asked for in the letter:
1- All contracts showing the proof of the purchase of goods or services by Ms. Brown from M1Y Direct;
2-Proof that M1Y Direct provided goods or services to Ms. Brown;
3-All authorizations by Ms. Brown for M1y Direct to debit her banking account;
4-Copies of all correspondence between M1Y Direct and Ms. Brown; and
5-Copies of all internal notes and e-mails, regardless in whatever means stored, regarding Ms. Brown.

I had sent them a validation letter that they ignored and proof of this to the AG and accordingly they say I never sent it.

Hopefully this will help those in Nevada to pursue these companies utilizing the AG Bureau of consumer Protection offices.
