they laid 1 to 3 people off from every office...corporate crisis. though i had almost 2 years there, my seniority was less than others, and my workload, other than that one project has been light. I knew it was coming eventually. I am sad and stressed and scared, but i have no hard feelings towards the company or my boss. they have been good to me, and they were good to me right up until the end.

Gee Polly,so sorry to hear about your job :cry: I know how you feel, got laid off from mine after 13 years,with no warning,it bites! They had paid for my schooling,taking my board exams(I'm a substance abuse counselor) and everything. But I know there is a reason,and nothing happens in God's world by mistake. My mom told me that if God wanted me to still be working,he'd snap his fingers and I would still be there,so for some reason He thinks it's ok,and must have better things for me. I know the fear and uncertainty all too well. At my age,it's really hard to start over. Hang in there,if you need to talk please pm me.we are here for you :) ....Karen
