When you call these guys again, try to record the call if you can. If you are in Texas, you do not have to inform them that you are recording the call. Then ask them again to send you something in writing, and if they still tell you they do not have to, then you can contact your local AG and the FTC and file complaints. The law states that they have to send you something if you ask on the phone for verification, but you must also send something in writing 7 days after you verbally ask for verification, and in the state of TX, they have 30 days to respond to your request. So, send everything certified mail return receipt requested. Do not give them any personal info either, only verify the info they already have on file.
