I want to freeze my checking account?

Hello again, Here is my situation i know have 6 pdls and all i end up doing is shuffling the money around to pay each pdl. I am in default with 2 pdl sonic payday and payday select i informed them all through email stating that that were charging me too high of fees/interest and attached the link proving it.
My landlord is now on my tail about his money. Oh and i have already sent my information to T&C about wanting to put them pdls into consolidation. Please help.

Have you changed your bank account? If not, then now is probably the time to do it. Once you do, DO NOT give the pdl paople your new info..they'll try to make all kinds of promises to you to get it, and they may tell you that's the only way they can accept payment. Don't listen to them. tell the companies that you are beginning consolidation. Also, tell them that you do not discuss payday loan matters over the phone. That worked for me..It kept them from calling my work. Good luck, once T&C gets going I think it'll be just fine for you.

I second what finsfan wrote. If you haven't already changed accounts, I would do so now. That way you don't have to worry so much about the NSF or overdraft fees that the pdl companies can cause.

I asked repeatedly for the financial institution we were using to freeze the account, or at least stop all debits. If the first person you ask won't help you, go to someone else until you find a person at the bank that can help you. If you aren't comfortable opening a new acct elsewhere, then at least transfer to a new acct at the same bank. Just something to prevent unauthorized debits once you start the consolidation.

Start a new topic in the payday loan help section with the following information:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.
