Looks like my fears were unfounded...things are really starting to fall into place with T&C -- just as you all promised!

So far, my payment is at $25/week. That is up from their original quote of $22/week, but not by much. I dropped Quick Payday and GW Financial from my plan last week b/c they zero'd out my balance. However, Cash Advance Now wanted $40/month instead of the $15 that T&C proposed.

They have contacted three of my PDLs: Cash Advance Now, Worldwide Cash (accepted $15/month), and ameriloan (agreed to work with them, but don't have a final payment set yet). They still have three to contact: Cash Doctors, Platinum B (already w/a collection agency), and One-Step Cash. Just added them today -- had been paying them $50 bi-weekly, but called to see if they would work with T&C instead. They said they would, so figure that will drop that payment considerably :)!

So...a very nice gal named Jessica was my rep today. She's the nicest person I've spoken with at T&C so far. She said she'd call the three remaining PDLs today and try to get a final payment figure for me late today or early tomorrow.

Hi wendytexas

It seems things are working pretty well at your end with the help of the consolidation company.

The company will try to fix up a payment plan as per your requirements. Once it is set, don't miss the monthly payments and hurt the plan. Remember, the company is offering you some facilities in payments and you can't let it go wasted.

If necessary, live on a restricted budget for some time till you have paid off the complete debt. I am sure you will find yourself coming out of the debt cycle within a reasonable time.

Ok...only three more PDL places for T&C to contact this morning...then we're set :)! They need to call Cash Doctors, One Step Cash, and the collection agency Platinum B sent my file to. They said they'd call me by lunchtime to let me know what's up.

On a funny note...received an e-mail from Premier Processing yesterday telling me to come reloan. This is one that I stopped payment on and put with T&C. Called this morning -- NOT to refi -- but to see what was up. They forgave my last loan on 4/21 -- the day I sent my letter notifying them I revoked my authorization to ACH and was going with T&C.

So...I'll have six loans w/T&C and three that I am paying off on my own over the next two months! Geez does this feel good. I have had four PDLs totally forgiven since last week.

I never should have had 12 PDLs in the first place...but I have learned my lesson and am seeing some serious bright light at the end of this tunnel!!

Talked with them again at the end of the day yesterday...

One-Step agreed to work with them and asked that they send in a proposal. Cash Doctors asked for a proposal, and they had to leave a message with the collection agency that Platinum B forwarded my file to when it bounced back to them last week.

So...progress is being made. So far, my payment is $29/week...a bit more than the $22/week they initially quoted, but two lenders wanted a bit more than the minimum T&C proposed. Even if I have to pay $50/week when all is said and done, I'm still way ahead of the game financially than when I had to scramble to pay all the reloan fees every two weeks ;)!

Hi JoAnn

One of the consultants in your area will be calling you for a free counseling. He will discuss your accounts and negotiate with the creditors. Based on your present financial situation, he will offer you some easy repayment options. You will be offered lower interest rates and easy monthly pay offs. The consultant will call you back shortly.

So...interesting development today. Cash Advance Now is one of the PDLs I have enrolled w/T&C...they wanted $40/month to pay off $200 loan + $50 interest + NSF fees when my account was closed.

Anyways, they called me today w/a settlement agreement. I sent "the letter" to all my PDLs at the same time I closed my account and enrolled w/T&C. The Collections gal said she could not zero out my balance...but she made a great settlement offer.

She said that she would waive all fees and interest. The only thing she wanted was the $200 principal -- and she applied the two $50 renewal fees I already paid, so she said I only owe them $100.

She agreed to let me send $50 at the end of June and $50 at the end of July. I had her e-mail me confirmation as to what we discussed so I'd have it in writing, and she did.

So...that's good. The only loans still w/T&C are Worldwide Cash, ameriloan, One Step Cash, Cash Doctors, and the collection agency handling Platinum B. Think Cash Dr. might be the next one biting the dust. Had an e-mail from them last Friday that they have my letter and would get back with me today or tomorrow with their decision whether to settle.

This is so cool...we're really getting to them!!!

Hoping to hear back from Cash Doctors today. They responded to my e-mail letter on Friday saying they'd get back to me on Monday. Didn't hear back yesterday, so called them when I got home.

Customer Service guy gave me the Collections number. The Account Manager in Collections said that I was not in his system, but should be by now. He said to call back the Customer Service number and talk with them. They couldn't tell me anything...so e-mailed again today and said that I assumed that since I am not in the Collections database, that it means they have agreed to my settlement offer and that I would be removing them from my T&C account.

Figured that would get them to respond ;)!

Just heard from CashDoctor...they have zero'd out my balance owed ($300) and put me on a DO NOT LOAN list :)!!! That only leaves me with Worldwide Cash, ameriloan, One-Step Cash, and Platinum B with T&C. My first payment is due to them this Friday...wonder if it's even worth it to have them do four PDLs for me.

Seems like they are dropping like flies once they either receive "the letter" or hear that I'm signed up with T&C. Wonder if anyone else will bite?

So...the good news continues:

So far this week Cash Doctors and One Step Cash have zero'd out my balance...and Cash Advance Now settled w/me directly instead of T&C for $100 payable in two $50 increments in June and July!

The people at T&C are nice...but I'm finding I'm actually a better advocate for myself. Not even sure I'll stick w/T&C if all keeps going so well. So far, I now only have three PDLs in my program: Worldwide Cash, ameriloan, and Platinum B (collections).

Ameriloan has acknowledged receiving "the letter" and promises to get back with me shortly with a response. I am still waiting to hear from the Platinum B collections agency. Seems silly to pay T&C to handle only two accounts...bet they won't refund the $155 fee though.
