I think I am losing my sanity. It's been a few weeks since we filed with T&C and can you say stress. Only one of our PDL's has signed the payment agreement. The rest will not talk to T&C or say they won't deal with them. What would happen if they take us to court over this? I know we can't go to jail for a debt, but what could they do? And how long could it be, I mean could I get a summons tomorrow or are they required to attempt to collect the debt first? I guess what is really freaking me out is that there have been no phone calls! Somebody help relieve my stress!!!

Hi franklinfamily03

You as well as your consolidation company are trying to pay the debt. This is an important aspect to prove your responsibility. I don't think the payday loan company will take the matter to the court unless the amount is very huge. They sound impossible in the beginning but a period of time, they will accept it if they want to be paid. Make sure that have all your paperwork done. This will be your proof of the actions taken to resolve the matter.
