does any one know these numbers 620-655-8721 and 1800-835-9313

Hi martinadams

They are National Credit Adjusters. They have other numbers that you might see in the caller ID:

620-665-7708 or 800-542-1048
620-664-6192 or 800-835-9313

They are one of the worst debt collectors. It won't be worth calling them back. The agency owner is Mark L. Huston whom you can send the cease and desist letter. He uses the fax number: 620-664-5947. Send your letter through certified mail with return receipt requested. These documents will serve as records for you.

National Credit Adjusters has been reported using illegal collection tactics on the consumers. Throw them a debt validation letter along with the cease and desist communication so that you get rid of them. If they violate the laws, report them to the local AG's office as well as the FTC and the BBB.

Are you trying to say National Credit Adjusters are not real debt collectors. Cause they called me & I made payment plan with them. Should I keep payment plan? or What should I do?

NCA has been bugging and harassing me since 2005. I requested validation of the debt 5 times to no avail. I did the 1-2 punch for validation and six months later they deleted the tradeline on my credt reprt. Five months after that ,they filed a lawsuit w/out my knowledge. I found out when they sent me a defaut notice in the mail. I filed a motion to set aside defaultand then an answer. They dismissed the case 2 days before the court hearing. They are very good liars. Ultimately, they dismissed because even they said they had no"written proof"

I didn't want to start a whole new thread so I figured I'd tack on here.

I understand that I need to send NCA a debt validation letter, they bought my authorized payday (illegal) and say I owe $500. I haven't received anything from them ever and recently pulled my credit reports where they show up on 2 out of the 3. I guess my question is do I need to send a cease and desist letter too? And will sending them a debt validation letter just start them up? Once the letter is sent how long do I have to wait and what do I have to send to the credit reports to get it off?

Have a question? I have had very similiar events happen to me as well. no ID, toll free numbers. I was on web trying out a free credit report, and then I saw that there was a closed account for $73.00 via the national credit adjusters. I tried calling the toll free number but all they want is for you to leave your message and phone number? I did not, but of course my caller id # will appear, just wanted to find out who put my name in collections? I have no dept with any merchants or banks, creditcards? when I researched a tad more I realized I was getting those annoying calls on my cell and my husbands cell? looked up the numbers on the web, and to our surprize it was a services non rendered collection? How do they do that? isn't that illegal? example: making an appointment to a doctor, then calling and cancelling, then you find you are in collections? How is this allowed or possible? I never received any services! and I called and cancelled the appointment! please help. I have such good credit and want to keep it that way. mj

Ok here is some info to help you. When ever you are dealing with a collections agency get the reps coll id or employee id #. This will help you if you have to take them to court. Also collections agancy can only talk to the person owning the dept or their spouse in all states besides the red flagged states which there is 3 of them unless you give them permision to speak with them. Keep track how many times they are calling you and how many times you talk to them, but they have to call you. They want you to call them, because then you are making contact with them. So its not illegal and not a fdcpa violation. Here is the deal if you owe the dept it is best to pay it and make sure you negotiate for the smallest amount possible, because most likely the bought this bad dept from anouth company for pennie's on the dollar and make a huge profit. The reason I am writing this is because this collections agancy is reporting false info on my credit report and I want to help make sure they don't continue to hurt honest people out there and report them to the FTC and your local BBB and police report possibly good luck!

10 cards, $80K, I paid not one dime, I even got a president against them.

Info for starters is on pauljjhansen.com
#17 on index page.

Credit card companies lend "the banks credit" and that is fraud.
That is why I have beat them every time.
All US courts have ruled that a bank can not lend its credit.

They have been harrassing my husband and me for months. We are in our 60's w/ excellent credit and do not owe anyone anything. They apparently want my son of whom I do not have contact with only infrequently. After reading this, I am calling the FTC, and Attorney General in my State.

Received phone call from this company @ 6:14pm on 2/12/09. I answered it only because I knew whoever it was, it was illegal for them to "spoof" their caller ID information. They asked for my husband who was not home, and then asked if I was related to him. Michelle Fortum (sp?) left the number 800-835-9313 x233 to call her back, she said they were located in Wichita, Kansas. She informed me she was calling in reference to a Quick911cash.com about a payday loan.

Our bank account was comprised in December of 2007, and this company went haywire running charges daily through my husband's bank account causing hundreds of dollars in bank fees to accumulate. It was such a mess that he finally ended up closing that account & converting to a cash only basis. When I explained this to her, she said yeah those companies do that. I advised her that I lived in Texas and she started laughing and said you're safe then because we can't collect from you.

FYI: If you live in Texas, the only thing employers can garnish from your wages is child support. The federal govt. can garnish for income tax and student loans, but individual companies cannot garnish for unpaid bills.

Since they broke laws by spoofing their caller ID information, I have reported them to the DNC list and my state Attorney General's office along with the FTC.

Calls begin bright and early every Monday at 9:00 am (To bad if you work swing shift). Usually the first call is a dead call or hang up. (Usually this means the company is looking for someone to be home and answer the phone, so they have a computer make the calls at first to check. Then another auto dialer calls you back to leave a message. I keep getting the call for a Joanna Young, and they tell you to hang up if you are not that person. So if you hang up they keep calling back. If you stay on the line for 2 minutes they will read you a toll free number to call them back and speak to someone, this time it was Joseph. They were calling about the letter they didn't send me cause they have the wrong number. If you don't get the toll free number 866-570-6085, and try to call back the original number, they wont answer it as it probably goes nowhere accept to a computer.

im not sure, but it would be safe to say that if you borrowed money from on of those 'cash advance/payday loan' companies. that's who it is. These people called for my husband and we ahve paid that money back. So much so, that we had to close the account because they were taking more payments then what we borrowed. So they are looking for more. i will send out those letters to try to get them off of our back. I thought they were done, but today it started again.

NCA has a new telephone.1-888-768-0674. I set up a payment plan with them for $100 a month but for some reason they took out the full amount of 455. They didn't even sent out a letter to notify me first or anything because I don't recall agreeing to draft the money out...what should I do? I know for sure I didn't even receive a letter ahead of drafting money out of my account..

I get a call today on my cell phone from 620-664-6192. I answer it. A computer-generated voice says "hello" and then hangs up. About 30 minutes later, I get another call from the same number. The computer-generated voice says hello again, launches into how they're looking for "blah blah" and if you are "blah blah" push 1. It's me, so I push 1. I'm then put on hold to wait for a representative. After 3-5 minutes, I get transferred to said representative WHO ISN'T EVEN THERE.....It goes into his voice mail. Are you people kidding me? I think they've been calling my office but they always call before my shift starts and my boss just hits the number that indicates it's not me on the phone. I've spoken with them before and demanded that they not call my work number. I've been told the number was permanently removed from the record. Gee, a liar, I'm so surprised. My cease communication letter has been written, signed & addressed. I'll be posting it via Certified Mail at the USPS tomorrow. Jackwagons.
