Debt Consolidation on accounts with collection agencies

Hi, I have already been turned into several collection agencies but have no clue which collection agencies because of an address change so do you guys look up all of the credit stuff for me or do i need to find out somehow?

The counselor might help you in this connection. It would make the process faster if you provide all the necessary information to your counselor. However, if you are unsure about who you owe, I think your counselor will help you find it out. Gather as much information as you can and wait for the call. Let us know how it goes.

you may want to obtain a copy of your credit report. you can get a free copy (no strings or offers to sign up for, but you do have to pay extra for the score) at http://www.annualcreditreport.com

You can get all three reports, or you can just get 1 at a time and spread them throughout the year. You get one free per year from each credit bureau

You can also inquire about the collection agency from your original creditor. They will have their details if the account has not been sold out. Give a call to the original creditor for the accurate details.

Like dmj said, pull up the latest copy of your credit report and you will know about the latest standing of your accounts from there too.
