thought you guys would want to see it..

Yes we are monitoring this forum and many others. Please get in touch with us ASAP to make arrangements, we will be happy to work with you.

****If you have settled with the other company for $160.00, from 500.00, why would you expect to get more than what we are offering? All we are asking for is the amount we placed in your account, why do you think that you should not pay it? We are trying to help you, when there is no requirement that we do, then you trash us on various forums?***The account will go to collections for the full amount if you refuse to work with the generous settlement we are offering*****

Ms. *****,

We are in receipt of your letter dated 05/09/06. Your account WILL NOT be considered paid in full.
All the terms and conditions of this loan were met by us. You accepted a deposit of $300.00 into your own bank account for your own personal use, at your request. You agreed to the terms when accepting the money. Since you were a repeat customer, we know you were well aware of these terms. If they were not acceptable, you should not have accepted the money in your account with the intent of non payment under the reasons stated in your letter.

Only one debit of $90.00 was paid before your bank account was closed. Despite your DEMANDS, we will reduce your balance to the $300.00 deposited into your account waiving all fees and bank charges we have incurred due to your account problems and failure to make good on the account balance.

We will give you credit for the 90.00 already rec'd and your balance is now $210.00. You have until 06/10/06 to pay this reduced balance or make arrangements with this department to pay the balance in 2 payments.

If we receive no payment or hear from you regarding payment arrangements, then the account will go back to our accelerated collections dept for the full amount due of $480.00. It can be reported at that point to outside credit reporting agencies.

Please call 1-800-410-5568 to make arrangements.

Let them keep monitoring the forums. We are winning the battle against them. They know they are the ones breaking the laws by loaning in a state that they do not have a license in, charging more than the states allow. Keep filing complaints against them with the Attorney Generals, FTC, BBB, Consumer Protection. These people with the authority are listening and that is why so many states are starting to ban and crack down on thepdl industry. The pdl industry has costed people their homes, vehicles, food on the table.

well, I received a phone message from 500FC that they "responded to my emails several times" (When, NO, they DID NOT!) And they're "closing my account" I sent them another email stating that they need to send me something in writing that my account is closed, not just a voice mail, and I haven't heard anything yet. I did get a "return reciept" that they read the email this morning, so hopefully I'll see something in writing soon...

I also have more good news regarding Sonic...check another message topic for that info soon!

Hello, guys!!! I have some good news about 500FastCash and a couple of other online payday loans. 500FastCash, ameriloan, and Rio Resources are all the same people!!! They were once located in New Mexico but are on the run and are now in Miami, Oklahoma. The reason why I found this out is because I filed for CH 13 debt consolidation and they have to give a CORRECT address to the law firm and courts. Here is the address

500FastCash
Ameriloan
Rio Resources
515 G SE
Miami OK 74354-8224
or
PO Box 111
3531 P Street NM
Miami OK 74355

Oh, I also forgot to tell you that tendollarpayday is located there also

Washred, You sure have raised a good point I have not thought of? Wonder if they are licensed anywhere? You know some states like WV require that a business pay state income taxes. If they are not licensed they are not paying state taxes. Just a thought. KYSIDE38

yeah we have to be careful with their attachment, i'm 99% sure that route 66 did something to my yahoo account, i get "logged out" right after log in and is usually after i start sending them my letter, and i started getting some weird garbish in my email.

the funny thing is that i'm not really logged out it says that and also says my session has expired, then i click on the yahoo logo and i'm still logged in.

is so confusing and hard to explain.

I am also having problems with them, probably bc they are the same as Rio, UCL, etc. They are going to respond saying "we have already responded, same thing" and that "i refuse to speak to the reps when they call", which was the same response as what they said to UCL. They need to get it together and know which company they are when they respond. They are unwilling to settle for the amount that I have given so I'm just going on with my complaints. They are going to say that they record all phone convos, faxes, and voicemails...like I am supposed to be worried about a letter that I am sending them 3-4 times that will be included in my complaint? Makes no sense!

500Fastcash response to my letter:
We are not sure what is wrong with you, we have responded to your emails since 11/22/06, when you sent the first one directly to this dept. We will not settle for $30.00, we will agree to $120.00 reduced settlement, but it must be paid by this Friday via Moneygram, other wise we just continue collections PER THE CONTRACT YOU SIGNED. We have resent our original response.
Have a good day.
They are really trying to get bold! No they did make that first comment! I told them to please refrain from sending me ANYMORE responses as the AG's office will handle this dispute.

Here's the BBB response they sent in regards to my complaint:

Quote:

Better Business Bureau
1722 S. Carson Ave, Suite 3200
Tulsa, OK 74119
Fax # 918-492-1276
Online Complaint #

Ms.

Ms. came to our website and applied. All of the terms and conditions were available from the moment of application, she was also asked a question whether she understood the terms during the process, she had to answer "yes" for us to even get the application. She was also given 48 hours in which to cancel the agreement and return the funds without incurring any fee. Lastly, before each debit, she was sent an account summary, which gave her all of the options for repayment, as well as the terms and conditions once more. In all of this time, Ms. did not contact us. When she did in November, she sent an email demanding we write off her account. We asked for a specific complaint in regards to the handling of her account, but still she send no response except the cut and paste letter we already received, that makes demands we are not obligated to meet or answer. All of the terms and conditions have been met, and we are faxing a copy of the loan note along with this response to prove our point. Our Fraud Investigation Division relates Ms. has sent this same letter to several loan companies, making the same demands; this could be fraudulent in nature.
We do wish to assist Ms., but we will not refund any money, and she must pay a reduced balance of $125.00, which is the last debits Ms owed us, and put a stop payment on. This must be paid by 12/18/06 via Moneygram, instructions below:
Pay To: United Cash
Receive Code: 4309
City/State: Miami, OK
Account: COMPLIANCE/424923

If this reduced balance is not met, we will put the account back into collections for the full amount now due, per the contract she signed. If not paid, the account will be sold to a 3rd party for further action, and could be reported to one or more credit bureaus.

Respectfully,

Compliance Department

So now I am a Fraud? They only know that I have sent this letter multiple times because I have loans with their dbas (RIO, 500fastcash).. Ridiculous!

Here was my response: Quote:
There is nothing fradulent about my letter and it is very self explanatory in nature. This company is fradulent in that they continue to operate in distributing loans without a license in ANY state under the veil of the "internet" and then when they are questioned by the consumer on their unlawful practices, the consumer is considered a "fraud". It also should not be any concern to them if this letter is used to send to different companies as the purpose of it remains the same- to settle a debit! If I am such a fraud, please report me to the proper authorities, which I know that you all will not do since you all are being investigated by many states. This poor BBB rating for this company speaks volumes as to how poorly they operate as a company. I am not the first consumer to complain and I definitely will not be the last based on their poor business practices and utter disregard for the laws. I will not accept this offer by them as I stated in my letter that I do not owe them anything, as by the State Of Maryland, I have more than met my obligation in paying them back their principle that was owed. They also continue to debit my account even after in writing I revoked their authorization, which I have a right to do. I will continue with my complaint to the Maryland Attorney General and hopefully this will prevent them from lending to anymore consumers in MD. I will also file a complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General's office so that they can be aware of this fradulent company operating in their state.

Can anyone find out exactly what states they are licensed in? It sounds like they are so phony close out your account, sit back and wait for them to do something cuz if they want to sue you they have to do it in your state. Also they can't send you to a LEGIT collection agency cuz they are not legit..If they try to they will have to produce the very same documents to them that the customer requests. They have to prove you owe them a debt. Why do they do these things? I think alot of them are owned and ran by the same person or persons too. And these people who work for them do they not have any consciences, if your loan has been paid who the hell do they think they are taking out more? That is stealing by anyone standards.

That is such a joke "outside reporting agencies" they even make up thier own. There are only 3 major credit bureaus and i'll bet none will accept any claims from 500 fast cash. They will say anything to get you to cave into their demands. The bottom line when push comes to shove the law is on our side so let them say what they will in the end the customer will prevail.

Glen, What state are you in? This is one dirty company. You will have to close that bank account or they will just keep sucking you dry. They are MTE Financial also called Rio Resources. They are not legal in any state that I know of. Sounds like you have way overpaid. Send in a complaint to your state Attorney General Consumer Divison ASAP. KYSIDE38

my wife and I found out a couple of months ago that these lenders were opperating illegally in the state that we live in. Our solution was to close the checking account and stop paying them followed with a letter for our state division of banking. They keep calling the house and threating us so we call our AG office and the AG calls them back for us. The lenders threaten to sue but we wish them the best of luck. My suggestion is for everyone to just stop paying these lenders any money at all, dont even make deals with them. Most of the time you are better off working it out in court if thats what it comes to. We are in the process of sueing these companies privatly to get our money back and restitution. I sugest that everybody who has one of these loans just stop paying it. They are usury under federal lending codes, not just state.

Atvewots, I agree that no money should be sent to these people over the legal amount that they are due. The only way to get any attention from them is to close the checking account and cut their access to your money. Otherwise, they will bleed you dry and you will never see the light of day. Let them try to go to court...I can't see them being able to hold water in court because they are illegal.

Hey guys! I just came across this website because 500 FastCash sent an email wanting us to give them our new account info. We closed our bank account after taking out loans with United Cash Loans, 500FastCash, and payday-yes-loans. I found out alot of bad stuff about United Cash Loans and was worried they would take more than they would take more than they should. Which they did! They wrote us and told us to straighten out our account and gave an address of 3531 P Street NW, Miami, OK. I live in Miami, OK and I know that the address is a residence. I wrote them back and told them when I see something legitimate about their address, phone #, etc. I would gladly pay them their money. I have never heard from them again. Now I see 500FastCash has an address in Miami, it happens to be the Modoc Tribe smoke shop. We called and they are not affilliated with 500FastCash. They know nothing about them. If you are reading this for the first time, do nottake out a loan from these people and if you have a loan with them close your account before they take more money from you then their supposed to.

This has got to be the largest and most unethical scam I have ever seen. I should have done my research however, it's too late.

I am expecting a debit in the amount of $390 to be debited from my checking account. I have alerted my bank who will trace the ACH withdrawl and then shut my account down. This is scandalous. I am also sending an email blast to over 500 of my friends not to do business with this company.

For those who want to follow this through, report this company to the FEDERAL authorities who can stop this malice.

Thanks
Toni H

So anonymous, you are admitting that you and your company prey on people who are going through a rough financial time. How proud of yourself you must be! Do you also steal candy from babies, and trip old people.

You are the scum of the earth and what goes around comes around. Eventually, the states that these bottom feeding companies reside in, will tire of all of this and outlaw these PDL pirates. Wow, how great to have a PDL loan job as a reference on your resume. You will be outing yourself for the unethical person that you are and hopefully you won't be able to get a 'real' job anywhere.
