Slow Process?

25 minutes on hold isn't unusual with them. If there is any problems, they are real good about contacting you and finding out what you want them to do. You don't get a payment book, but you can request a monthly statement. I try to keep in contact with them at least every two weeks, to make sure they get my payment and make sure everything is still going good.

I was just going to ask the same question or one kind of like it. I western unioned my fee last Friday and I had one PDL email me and say they haven't rec'd a proposal yet from them. How long does it take for them to get the whole thing set up?

They mail the proposals to the lenders. Contact T&C and tell them that a lender called you and stated that they hadn't received the proposal and they might fax it.

Just curious if T&C work with 3rd party collection agencies?

Could i get some infomation on T and C?

I just signed up with them to consolidate my PDL and I have heard great things about them....They sound like they are an answer to my PDL nightmare!

T&C is great = they finally got one of my creditors - not a pdl a personal loan to accept their proposal T&C paid them on the 8th and of course they accepted - they are getting the same amount from T&C as they were me - now I don't have to deal with them they were calling at least twice a week - this is Beneficial (HSBC) for any of you guys out there that has Beneficial and when Beneficial calls says lets try for another loan -no thank you you guys tried once and I was turned down - oh why did you go into consolidation we can that for you - no I don't want to pay your interest rates!! this is the same conversation I have with them everytime they call!! I'm glad they are off my back now! All of my creditors and 8 pdls are with T&C and they are greaaat as Tony the Tiger used to say!!

Good deal!! I've heard HSBC can be hard to deal with sometimes, sounds like they are working with you!

It makes me feel a little better to hear some positive stuff being said about T&C. Since I just sent the initial fee last Friday, I guess it is too soon to expect the companies to have the proposals left. I did email the letter from one PDL to T&C and asked them to fax the proposal. I just am so darned nervous and stressed about the whole thing. Tomorrow is the day that all of the PDL's and creditors will try and hit my now non-existent bank account! Someone reassure me (again) please!

Lorri, it all work out ok. I started with T&C about a month ago. I still have a few companies that are calling me wondering when they will get their first payment. Of course these are the companies that didn't accept the initial proposal so that is what the hold up. I absolutely trust that T&C is working the problem so my stress levels have gone way down. I think part of it is that we all want a quick fix but unfortunatley it takes a while to get out this mess. Just take it slow and remember that T&C is working for you to get these things taken care of. They are wonderful just to talk with if you do feel stressed or you can come to the forums and we are all here for you. Keep us informed, okay? :)

Thanks so much celticlass for those words of encouragement. I actually talke to T&C this morning (had to get up at the crack of dawn to do it as I am in California). The girl helping me was so kind and gave me different tips. Interestingly, she also mentioned this site and said that many of the customers come on here and find out useful information especially about the illegally operating in other states PDLs. So I felt a little more confident.

I'm glad you are feeling better. When I spoke with Jessica at T&C the other day she said that her manager and the owner of T&C had gone onto this site and were very excited about what they saw here. Of course we are referring alot of people to them so they were probably wondering where all these people are coming from. :) I'm so glad we are all being helped out of these traps.

That is too funny! Yesterday I was talking to one of the T&C reps and she asked if I was familiar with this site. I said "oh yeah", I am a regular visitor. She was also saying how people are getting refunds from the PDL's that are operating illegally and more people are finding out about it from this site. Yea! They are on the RUN!
