Ok i guess i messed up. It said in the contract with cash transfer centers that they do not work with debt consolidation companies. I did not see that at the time. Now they say i have 7 days to come up with the repayment of 400.00 plus fees. Totaling 566.00. Any suggestions as to how to handle this? I do not have the money to give them, and they said they will garnish my wages!!! Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi REDRNOR

Beware of Cash Transfer Center. They are the same as Sonic Payday. Sonic is now refunding the excess money they previously charged from the consumers. They have come under legal observation.

While dealing with Cash Transfer, you must review the loan amount along with the charges. If they are as per the contract, send money that you can afford now. You can work out arrangements with them.

Cash Transfer has to be licensed in your state before they can legally garnish your wages. I guess they are not licensed in the US and hence, they don't have these legal rights. But, you have to pay off the loan with them. Arrange a payment plan and pay it off.
