Hi all

I am happy to let you all know that our community site is increasing in popularity all over the internet. Visitors are coming from all over and learning from our community's experience. Our community members are doing great job by helping them out

I have a request, A large number of people come here each day looking for the contact information on T&C. Many of you go and jump ahead in helping them out. They take that info and never visit us again. You helped them out but they never came back to share the results with the community.

In order to have their stay longer and recognized in the community, I will request all of you to talk with that person for a while, let him/her get familiar with our community before you recommend T&C. I will request that poster earns 5000 points here before you give your recommendations on a specific company. This is just a sincere request so that our beautiful community keeps growing. This is a sincere request, nothing implied.

Regards
Vikas

Yes, that's true. I've never really felt comfortable anyways, giving out T&C's information. I've always suggested signing up on the forums, and while waiting for them to contact you...ask questions in the forums.

Is there anyway to know that the companies that are being referred, if they can deal with payday loans? It looks like that is the main reason people are turning to them.

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

Our automated system is designed looking at the requirements of the person and type of debt. Based on this info, the system picks up the consolidation company working in that area. They can talk with the counselor and discuss more about the program.

Let's get our community growing larger :)

Vikas

Vikas, I think that is a really good idea. The only thing I would ask is if we could make the number of points a little less. I try to post almost everyday and keep people up to date on where I'm at and if I have learned any useful info and I havn't reached 5000 debtcc points yet. When I found this site I was so desperate. I am extremely thankful that I was able to get the T&C info and contact them right away so I could start to get out of the ditch. I would just be afraid that with people being in such bad shape if they can't find help sooner than later they might try to find help elsewhere, maybe even turning to a program that will only get them into more trouble. I hope my concerns make sense.

Vikas,

I think this is a great idea. We do not want debt-ridden folks out there just taking the number and running away without any more of our great advice!!! :) However, I do agree with celticlass that 5000 points is quite a large number to reach. I do usually try to recommend to a guest or newcomer that they join our friendly little forum, but they often don't :( But back to the topic, we will definitely go with your recommendation!

That's why I am suggesting community members to interact more with new members so that they do not make any mistake in a hurry. Get them involved with the community by asking about their problem in details. This will help every one else figure out the appropriate solution.

Registered members usually receive the free counseling within hours; however, it might take a day sometimes. Now isn't waiting a day much better than dealing with a bad company?

Community members have always tried their best to help others. I am sure more and more people will become fond of this board in coming days.

Another suggestion I have, (Not to step on your toes, Vikas) but we have a lot of letters and such that get passed around--SOMEONE had to work very hard to come up with. So if you pass it on, be sure to pass on the original author with that. I believe in giving credit where it is due, ya know? :)

this all sounds wonderful. I found this forum almost 2 months ago...can't believe it's been that long...and I post every day, as much info. as I can. I feel that I've helped a lot of people. And I have received even more help from all of you, and I am truly grateful.

On that note, although I post every day, in almost 2 months, I still have not reached 5000 points. So, perhaps lowering that amount would be better.

Just a suggestion Vikas, I appreciate all this site has done for me.

thanks!

I hope I didn't step on your toes at all Vikas. I do appreciate this website so much. I have learned so much here. This was definitly a Godsend. I do see the reasoning behind wanting people to get the support needed here before sending them off with just a tid bit of info and no support to back it up. I'm with you all whatever is decided. Thank you to everyone for all the hard work that is put into making this the great website that it is.

Hi Vikas,

I got T&C's # the first day. I was in a total panic. After I recd it, I guess I could have just taken it & ran I never thought about that. I totally see your point now that you have brought it up. I have been on this site faithfully for a almost 2mths now, I think...I can't see my register dte right now. If I would have had to wait this long to get T&C's info, & still would not have 5000 pts I might have gone over the edge. Maybe like 1500....I don't want to make anyone mad, just giving my opinion based on the pts I have & how long I have been here.

Hi erzeke1

DebtCC has partnership with consolidation companies all over the States. Some of them do consolidate on payday loans and our system matches the info with the person's requirements. The counselor in his/her area will call up for a free counseling within the shortest time.

Hi lgall

Believe me, my topic meant a humble request only. There was nothing implied on anyone. And above all, you all are there to show the right path to those in need. You all got a solution out and so will the new people. This is the most special thing about our group. I lower down the 5000 DebtCC points to a minimum of 1500 DebtCC points

Vikas

Hey Vikas,

Wow--ee I feel so proud you took my advice. I am glad I didn't step on any toes. I REALLY want to help where I can.

What does it mean that you are the system admin? I am just trying to figure out how all of this works.

I will put my pic on & be proud to do it. I have been helped in sooooo many ways. I totally stumbled onto this site one day at work in a panic.
