Need to know the SOL in PA urgently

I bought a car and due to a hospitalization it was reposessed in sept2001. It is may 17 2006. I have not heard about this car since it was repo'ed and today a man from dunstone financial calls and cusses me out and says he will call me 50 times a day at home or work til i pay up.i had a dispute with the lein holder.they broke their arrangement when they found out i was hospitalized.is the sol up for this.they actioned the car in oct 2001.i haven't heard from them since? Help,hurry!

Even though your debt is an absolute promise to be paid back, the creditor can't force you to recover the amount if it is past the SOL period. As per the SOL laws in PA, you have the legal rights to refuse payment because the SOL expires after 4 years from the date of last payment. Since your car has already been auctioned, you can't be held responsible to pay back the balance amount.
