Can anyone tell me if I get a call from a CA reguarding my pdl's and I tell them I am with T&C do I need to have them contact T&C or should I call T&C and have THEM contact the CA's? I havent gotten many calls (which is good) I am just curious as to how the process goes? I am confident that I made the right choice with T&C but I am worried that the calls I get from (CA) will harass me and make me stressed out again. I have not cried since I joined T&C which for me is good! :P I LOVE this site! Thanks for letting me express my thoughts!

Hi Jo

I am so glad to know that your consolidation company is working out everything nicely. Be regular with your monthly payments and you will surely come out being debt free.

While dealing with the collection agencies, you must need to know first if they have the legitimate purpose to call you. They must have the details of your accounts before attempting collections. After you are sure that the company has your details, you can forward them to your consolidation company who is working on your accounts. It might be possible that your payday loan company have not notified the CA about the latest arrangements. So, the lender has to pull your accounts back from the CA and stop using them. Ask your consolidation company to get in touch with the CA as well as the payday loan company and update with the latest arrangements.

You don't need to deal with the CA as a consolidation company has been hired for handling your accounts. Be aware of your legal rights and don't get intimidated by them. Enjoy your life and stay relaxed.

Thank you for the input! It helps me a great deal! I am not sure if all the companies have excepted the proposals from T&C so I am assuming that they will? I just find it funny that before I went with T&C I offered to make partial payments and they turned me down and were all nasty to me but they will except a lower amount from T&C but then again I dont have to hear all the bickering. I dont think I could work for a debt consolidation company :)

Thanks again for the advice!

Contact the consolidation company and they should take care of this matter as long as they have an accepted proposal from the consol company you should not be contacted by agencies. However if you don't have an accepted proposal you are and will be subject to recieve more calls until the debt has been paid in full.
