Sorry I forgot to put that I live in Delaware. Just trying to find out which compaines are legit in my state. I here a lot of you talk about that they can't do things if they aren't in your state.

They can't do things if they aren't licensed to do business in your state. Entities from outside of your country can do business in your state, but they need permit to do so. You can check a particular company with Consumer Protection Office of your state too.

The state licensing authority or the Dept of Finance will be able to give you information about the companies licensed in your state.

However, if you have signed a contract with some company not licensed in your state, you must make sure of paying them within the permissible interest rates and charges. The permissible charges in your state can be obtained from the Delaware Attorney General website.
