It might take some time for the company to respond you. Ensure that you have all papers documented in a file for records. Keep the receipts of the certified mail along with it.

I sent the letter to paydayok also...Back in April. I'm about to send it again. Let me know how that goes for you, seems like progress is stalled for me.

I faxed my ltr & recd an e-ml w/in a couple days the acct was marked paid in full.

Well that sounds really encouraging lgall. I would accept PAID IN FULL as a second choice (sounds like I am picking out a prize or something :lol: )

Hey I agree. I req a refund, but they said the marked pd in full! So I left it at that!

Well get this---I got an email today from them and they said they will send me a refund for $200 and consider my account PAID IN FULL!!! I wonder what makes them act so fast in one case and not in another? Anyway, I am very pleased.

It may depend on actually how much you've overpaid the company per your state laws. It might take a few days to get your refund. Make sure you get everything in writing so nothing comes up in the future. If it does, then you will have proof that the account is closed. Congrats to you!!

I don't understand what you mean guest?---What will depend on how much I have overpaid and when you say a few days--do you mean a week, a month or what?

I've sent the letter to paydayok several times and get no response from them at all. Should I fax it to them?

Is paydayok affiliated with paydayone? Whenever I call paydayone they ask which company I have an account with. Anyway I have a loan with paydayone that I've had since October and I still owe around $100 on it. Is it safe to send the letter while I still owe a balance? I'm just a little scared they may try to debit the amount early or something.

You must pay only that amount you actually owe. It must be within the permissible interest rates as per your state laws. Sending a letter won't harm because you are acting as per your state laws and are willing to pay the balance. Go ahead and send the letter.

I must say that they are very helpful and pleasant at least when sending emails---I even asked if they could tell me when the check would be mailed and they said Thursday---I said thank you and they emailed back "your welcome". Thought that was kind of refreshing for a change.

Guess what...after faxing the "letter" several times with no response, I got a refund in the mail yesterday of $230. Yay!!!!!! :D

I used Payday OK a while back and found them very pleasant to work with. I don't see you having problems with them

I agree w/ Linnie, I sent them a ltr they marked my acct paid in full. They were very easy to work with.

Can one of you pm the letter you sent to paydayok? I have them with T&C and would like to drop them if I get the Paid In Full letter. Thanks!!

kbraveboy---That is great that you got a refund! I got an email first telling me they were going to refund me (after sending the letter once). Good for you!

I have several pay day loans and what laws are the internet companys under the borrowers state or the as it says on the web site?

The pdls are bound by the laws of the borrowers state.

so if my state say 15 per 100 the i am being over charged. what letter are you guys talking about?
