I'm in trouble! Please HELP!?!

Hey everyone,

Very sad news on my end…in case you haven't noticed, I haven't been posting in a while. I've been out of town, back home taking care of my mom. As some of you may know, I graduated college this semester, a few weeks ago. Well, a week later, I went home so my family could throw a party for me, and the day after the party, my mom had a heart attack. I am an only child, and this has been so extremely hard on me. I have been taking time off work to be here, and luckily my job has excellent benefits, and I've been able to use “personal time off” to get paid for the past 2 weeks, but it's running out, and I have rent due this week. I am stressing big time here…I don't know what else to do. I was able to make my T&C payment last week, but I'm not sure about next week, and my mom's job did not have benefits, so we're trying to scrounge up money to help pay her bills and medication costs. I have been seriously thinking of PDL's….but NO! I know better, I mean, I KNOW BETTER….so why am I even contemplating it?? Well, if any of you could find it in your hearts to donate any points, I would appreciate it so much…I can barely take care of myself right now, but I am now having to take care of my mom as well. I find strength in this forum, financially, as well as morally, spiritually…you guys are my second family, and I feel so blessed to have this in my life. Please HELP!

I need it more than ever now…

I am so very sorry to hear about your Mom. It is wonderful that you are taking care of her, she needs you! Please look into help from the government for her medical needs, she might qualify for some kind of aid...I don't know what is offered in Texas (is your mom in Texas too?) but there should be something.

I have sent 1000 points your way. Hopefully that will help you with your payment to T&C and the other things that are piling up on you right now. Congrats on graduating, that is a huge accomplishment! We are all very proud of you here :) Keep in touch!

I am so sorry to here about your current/pending situation, i will keep you both in my prayers and trust and believe in the lord for he is real......if i could help with donations I would but I am in debt myself.........I know in my heart everything will work out for you just continue to keep the FAITH. my blessing are with you and your family. How is your mother doing now? I know your financial situation is pressing on your mind, but do not even allow yourself to consider the PDL route like you mentioned. I know you wouldn't seriously, but don't even let yourself be tempted, pretend they don't exist. Pretend (!) they are lethal and it will kill you if you go near them (lol) :D

Seeing the light-I know you are goin through a tough time and my prayers are with you and your mom. My mom is all I have left-all my family on both sided are gone,except a few distant cousins-all died within 5 years of my dad. I also lost my job and benefits and medication coverage. I'm tellin you this because I want you to know you are not alone,and that you will survive. Just try not to get panicked and make any rash decisions,like a payday loan. When you can step back from the situation and take a breath,sometimes solutions come to you. Also feel free to come here and vent,PM me,anything that helps you through,we are here for you. :) ...Karen

Seeing_the_Light, we are very sorry to hear about your mother. Don't worry all the community members are beside you and praying for your mother. She will get well soon.

I'll personally look into the matter so that your debtcc points is remitted by today on urgent basis.

thank you mike. I got them redeemed today. Hopefully I will have the money by tomorrow or Friday at the latest...depending when my bank processed it. It usually takes a day or two.

thank you all again for the prayers and help. She's doing better, and says thank you, she appreciates what this forum has done for me as well.
