Who is FNB Marin??

I some questions (obviously) lol.
I applied for a job and agreed to let them pull my credit history. I just brought it home today and did not really pay much attention to it before because I have my other reports from February and it all looked pretty much the same except for this one entry.
It says A F S Assignee of FNB MARIN. I've been searching and searching and all I can come up with is that it's a bank or credit card company and now I'm terrified because I don't know who/what this company is. Is it a bank? Are they a collection agency for a bank? Is it a credit card company?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is a credit card company that has now changed their name to CreditOne Bank. Hope this helps you out. I have an acct w/ them...they are not fun.

I guess A F S Assignee is collecting for FNB MARIN. So, it seems that your account is in collections. Call the company and inquire about the details of the debt. Get the debt validated in writing before you make any payment arrangement with them. It will also sound good to talk to the bank and work out arrangements with them. If done, you won't have to deal with the CA.
