Does anyone know if they are licensed in the State of Washington? I emailed them and they told me I needed to send a fax to the complaint dept., which I did. No response. Then I called their customer service number and asked the question. The woman put me on hold and never came back.

Check with the Dept of Licensing in Washington for more information on United Cash Loans. They must be licensed in your state before attempting collections.

Have you asked the company to validate the debt in writing? They are required to furnish this information in the letter. You need to know the name of the creditor for which they are collecting. Try to work out arrangements with the original creditors if you do not want to deal with the CA.

I was successfull at getting my loan marked PAID with them. Just keep sending emails. They started calling me saying they weren't receiving payments and they were going to "act" on that legally against me...HA!

I got a call from them after sending 2 emails a day for 2 weeks saying "stop sending us emails, we've responded to them several times (they didn't) that we have marked you paid in full and do not wish for you to send us any more emails" so, I stopped, and they stopped...and everyone's happy!

...except United I guess..hehehe!

Rose..you need to pester them! Keep sending messages like: "You have not responded to my previous emails, therefore, I am forwarding a copy for your convenience. I expect a prompt reply as soon as possible. I am in contact with my Attorney General's office as well as the State of Nevada's professional regulation department.
I demand my account "paid in full" and I expect a positive response from you."
Keep it simple and strong....send them several versions of this letter and do it mulitiple times to get their attention!
