Hey cats,

At this very moment, my husband is rolling around on the bed laughing his ass off and making fun of me for christening myself a Jedi Mistress and being an "Allmighty Super Moderator" and he's calling me "Super Credit Girl" and mimicking me in a silly high pitched voice. He's also laughing about my blog template with the Jedi Temple. When he gets going he never stops and his most common line is "Wait until I tell my parents!"

He's still going, he's saying in a high pitched voice "I'm the online credit hero"

He just accused me of writing "P.S. Could someone send me a lightsaber, I just lost mine." And then he said "Any of you know how to change lightsaber colors, mine turned red and I don't want to be a bad Jedi, I want to be a good Jedi and have a green or blue one."

He's still going. I'll update you later on just how ludicrous he is right now!

Hi Kitaru

The program will be tailored as per your needs. You have to sit with the consultant and explain your requirements. All the accounts will be combined together into one monthly payment and a lower pay off will be set for each month. Register in this website and someone will call you to discuss about your options. You will get positive options taking care of these financial problems.

I'm getting a lot of hits for a T&C, is that it?! If not, got an exact addy for me, JMA? Thanks! And, yes IH, I registered, but only got one response. That was Superior Debt(negotiated settlement)...the other one was something like Spirited Debt(???) That message was so garbled, I couldn't make out the return call number.

"I trust my source, but I still can't find it in the archives."

"If an item does not appear in the archives...it does not exist!"

LOL!

Town and Country......what? I'm getting Town and Country Credit, but not much more. Thanks for your patience, my Master.

I think I'm going to go with a settlement scenario, rather than a consolidation. I guess it involves not paying anything for 4 months to achieve default, then getting the settlement through the debt agency and paying a lowered amount for 25-36 months thereby reducing the total amount paid out by as much as 45%(at least that's what I understand.) Thanks all for the good scoop.

That's also a good idea! Keeping in mind that on your credit report, your credit report will show that the accounts were "settled for less than the full amount" whereas with consolidation you can completely eliminate the debt and bring your credit score up to top notch. Do what is right by virtue of your needs and your family's needs, be it consolidation or settlement.

"settled for less than the full amount"

How bad is that? Is my credit totally hosed then, or is it a recoverable scenario? Thanks!
