Please assist! I have 5 payday loans going. The intent was to borrow from one & pay back the other, but between paying back creditor & monthly bills, someone taking money out of my account from Romania, I've become quite overwhelmed & in need of some seroius finical help & guidance. Is there a company that consolidate payday loans? Please help me if you can. Thanks!

You need to put a block on these pdls from debiting your account or close the account and open a new one. And you need to revoke your authorization allowing them to debit your account. You then need to file a complaint with the AG's office, this can be done online. Then use the settlement letter on this site inserting OH's pdl laws in it and add that you have filed this complaint with the AG's office. You need to fax, e-mail, and mail the letter to the companies. Hit them with it everyday if you want. OH only allows $15/$100 and NO ROLL OVERS. If you have been paying on these since May then you have already paid the principal, interest allowed by laws back and THEN SOME. Demand that they mark your accounts paid in full. Expect them to call when you start this process. They will threaten you with Fraud charges and arrest, but that is a lie and a scare tactic they use to try and scare you out of your money. Don't be afraid of their calls, they are just a voice on the other end making a threat they know is false and that is illegal, let them know that it is called extortion.

Can I ask how many internet pdls you have and how much you borrowed from each one. Since you said you've been paying on these since May, I'm guessing these are internet pdls. But if you have any storefront pdls you need to make payment arrangements with them because they are licensed and can/will take you to court for a judgement.

Louisiana prohibits criminal action for defaulting on a payday loan so no they cannot have you arrested! Did one of these companies tell you this? Please post more about your situation...what company or companies are you dealing with? We may be able to steer you in the right direction. Are your loans internet or storefront, or both? How much did you borrow from each and how much have you repaid so far?

The storefronts are required to be licensed so they follow the laws of your state. The best thing would be to be honest with them and propose a payment plan to them. They cannot prosecute you as far as I know..........they will say that to scare you!!! Don't let them. Offer them a payment plan that you can afford.

You can only pay what you can afford. Always place your immediate bills above the payday loans. Food, rent, electricity...etc, need to come first. In the meantime, tell them how much you can afford in payments, and be honest with them. Would they rather you not pay anything or receive what you can pay over a period of time? Pay only what you can, not what they tell you.

Oh my God! I need your help. I am from Michigan and have taken out about 5 payday loans trying to keep up bills do to cut backs on my job and trying to releave debt. All of the loan have been done thru the internet. The padayloans are: MyCasnow, Webpayday, ameriloan, PaydayMax, M1YDirect, Oneclickcash, and Thinkcash. And because PaydayMax put the whole amount thru because the said I did not call my checking accouunt is over 500 Non Suff Funds I now have to choose between paying my care which I must so they won't come get it or paying Paymax and the others. I want to all the payday loans but I just cant afford to have them take out of my account anymore. What can I do I never been in this situation before. I have been paying them faithfuly and did not mean not to call and now may account is thrown off due to PayMax and I will not be able to pay all of them every two weeks. What should I do they siad they will keep sending it and this is and will cost my bank account to go up even more for NSF's only because of PaydayLoans. I almost feel like I should resign (which means quit)from my job of 21years and use retirement money to paythem. What should I do???

I have a payday loan out with TJF Corporation among others...I put a stop payment on them all so that I could work out a reasonable payment plan to get out from under this debt. Now there is a guy named Kevin Petersen (or at least that is the name he is using with me) with a company called United Pay Services threatening me with jail if I don't send them $460 by Western Union. I don't if that it is the right dollar amount or not, so I asked him for some documentation and he said no, the only way I can get that is to go to jail. Advice anyone?

Thanks.
Robin
