Thanks Vikas. It worked for me. Today I checked my blog, I found 10 spam comments are awaiting for moderation under Manage section of blog admin panel. I've marked all of them as spams and moderated them. It's really great.

Anyway, I can see lots of spams are already there in the comment section. Click the comment links mentioned in my post above to see them. Please guide the community to kill those demons.

Stanley..I'm happy that you are taking so much care of the DebtCC blogs to keep it spam free. But I'm not finding much response from the other members as we are having 19 active bloggers now. I request to every bloggers to response here at least if they have made the spam settings as directed above.

Anyway I'm showing the method to delete the existing spams:

Step 1

Go to Blog Admin Panel

Step 2

Click on the Manage and then to Comments section. Below is the snapshot.



You can delete the spam comment one by one or you can click on the "Mass edit mode" to delete the comments at one go.



After selecting the comments to delete, click on the "delete checked comments" button. Be very careful while you are deleting comments.

At first, I was getting two or three spams a day (if not more). But since invoking moderation on all posts in my blog, spam attempts have gone down to about one every two or three days. Over time, spammers will get the message. ;)

Thanks again. I've collected a list of spam words which are affecting our blogs and put in the blacklist comments. Today I checcked I dont have any spams at all for moderation. Now I think our blogs will be spam free in few days.

It is the modeate comments section and you can get it by clicking on Manage -> Awaiting Moderation links. Now you can select comments one by one or use the Mark all links to moderate all comments at once.

Vikas I have made the changes to my blog--but I am having so much trouble still. Sometimes ads are there and sometimes not. Also, I know adsense can give you how much you earn each day from whatever clicks you have on the ads, but people (friends) have told me they have clicked on them, but it still says I have earned nothing. Am I doing something wrong?

Once google crawls over your blog, the amount will be posted in your account. I believe, they do the crawling periodically.

What does crawling mean?

Google do not visit each and every webpage on the internet manually but through its automated module or program called crawlers or spiders. They use crawlers to store the information of the available web pages on the internet.

The page having google adsense often takes some time to load and that's why we dont see it if the page is loaded properly. If you refresh the page, it will show it.

I've acquired a list of spam words and put it under Comment Blacklist of blogs. Today I found there are no spam comments awaiting for moderation for me and I see from mail account that 5 attempts were made to post spam comments. Thus the work is reduced to a great extent. It's really working. :) Thanks Vikas your effort to stop the spammer is going to be successful. Congrats!!

I guess you were having problems in seeing the adsense in your blog. Once the page has properly loaded, you will be able to view the adsense in your blog.

No---thats not what I was having trouble with---I keep showing that I have earned nothing from my ads. I guess I don't understand how it all works.

Like I said earlier, the google indexes every blog at a fixed period. Keep writing in your blog regularly so that it comes at the top in their indexing list. Once their software has visited your blog and counted the clicks in your adsense, money will be sent to the account. They work as per their own module, that is the reason it takes some time to get the best results.

You have Mike--thank you. I just don't see how any real money could be made doing this if only people who visit this website will see it--unless I tell someone to visit it. Do you know anyone on the board here who has made money from blogging?

Blogging is a very famous subject in the internet. There is a huge traffic in this field and no doubt, lots of $$$$$. This feature has been introduced in our website recently, so we need to wait for some time for beneficial results. We are also working hard from our side with the technical requirements and the updates taking place.

Thanks Mike---I just found out why it is not showing any earnings---I was putting in the wrong ID number, I should have put pub before the number. So now, I have to hope that people READ MY BLOG AND CLICK ON ADS.
