Jessi,
I have done my share of deleting spam also. It feels great to be able to go in and wipe it out.

419 spammers
The best way I found to get rid of nigerian spam, is to answer each one with insults. If you are getting 419 scams sent to you, you are on a mailing list, of sorts. Insulting them by asking questions about thier intelligence, or by asking why they think you are so gullible, calling them idiots, etc, makes you a lousy choice for the email list.
Also, report all of them to the ISPs used.
Use Abuse@aol.c or abuse@live.com or what ever ISP they use, put the body and header (click details) and the ISP will cancel the account used. Even the cafes used will have to get new ISP accounts.
I am down on the number of scams sent, and today I actually got none!
