I am a fairly well known member of this board. I am signing in as a guest due to the recent slanderous assumptions being made toward our members by payday loan companies that THINK, they can identify and then harass their customers using this forum. I just wanted to set a few things straight here so maybe after you read this, you can be more constructive with your time.

There have been accusations from payday loan companies stating that when they receive what they believe to be a "form letter", that they will monitor who it is from, their activity on this forum and use this information against them if need be.

Come on…….

1. Legal form letters are found on many Internet sites. Not just this forum. They had to originate from somewhere. Regardless, using a form letter is not illegal. We were very grateful for people that found these links to legal information and letters and have shared it with us. Law that protects us is our right to know. And our right to take action if need be. Why do you feel that you can use a form letter as a threat against us?

2. Members on this forum are in need of help. They come here for advise on how to get their finances straight while trying not loosing their home, car or job which can happen when you get involved in payday loans. We help people in need. We head them in the right direction to either get help or help them selves.

3. Instead of paying such close attention to this forum trying to identify your customers, try reading the laws that are posted here. This is what it's all about.

The Internet is one big free education. I think you could find better ways to spend your time instead of trying to find out who could possibly be one of your default customers.

The laws of the states you do business in bind you. So, if you receive a form letter, maybe you should pay attention to what is says instead of where it came from.

Have a wonderful day.

I wish I would have known you for compiling such strong points. Maybe I could have offered some help to you from my side also. Let's think, how lenders can locate anyone from postings in the forums here or anywhere else. They need to have powerful access of the database before retrieving anything. I guess those companies with such malice intentions need to be complained with the law enforcement agencies for immediate actions.

Genevea-Roth actually monitors the post I make daily. I know because they make refernces to me about them. One guy actually told me I should be a lawyer because I was so good at twisting the law. I didn't twist it but I do have at least a 6th grade education and comprehesion level. So I can do things like READ.

Right on "Guest"! It's very well said. I will say the only one I had that was monitoring was 500fastcash and they actually worked out a very fair plan with me and I paid them off myself, not through T & C. It did freak me out a alittle though when they made reference to my posts here in a reply letter. I felt like my privacy had been invaded a little. When you first come here it feel like a safe refuge from all the stress you've had in your life for so long, then to know they are here too just freaked me out (only a little though).

A thought and a warning to the PDL's, while we post here knowing that by doibng so we have put our words into the public domain, the use of the internet to additionally harass/threaten and otherwise casue injury to an individual is potentially a violation of laws (where in effect) that define cyber-stalking as a criminal act. I am very confident that some people on here have been the victim of such criminal activitiy and strongly suggest that they turn over documentation to their local police/district attorney/procesuting attorney or attorney general's office for review and possible action.
