I agree with Bud. They are another sleazy collection agency employing sleazy, loud-mouthed, under-educated, parole violating former inmates who know nothing about law and consumer rights. Save your money, this agency won't be around very long.

All CAs must follow the fdcpa laws, so you need to get something in writing from them before they collect the debt from you. The collection agencies are prohibited from using false, deceptive or misleading ways to collect the debt. Most of them harass, oppress, or abuse the person while recovering the debt. This is an illegal action and it must be reported to the FTC at (202)-326-2502 and a complaint must also be filed with the local attorney general's office.

As per the laws in the FDCPA, a collector should also not make repeated phone calls at home or your place of work unless you have instructed them to. Check if this collection agency discusses your personal finances with anyone else. If it happens, you can take legal actions for violations of FDCPA.

You better check on that license in your state. If what they do surpasses quality standards then I'm a tiny green Martian.

That is an outright lie. That would mean that they can read and if they could read then would follow the law. They may follow company policy, but that's about it.

I was in the process of questioning a debt when the rep who originally called me transferred me to their "legal department". The bozo identified himself as "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater" when I demanded to know his identity so I could file a complaint against him for his abusive language. I'm calling the FTC in the morning.

This company calls this house, cell phone etc, and they are looking for a person who does not live here, never lived here, and has never been here. This incompetent organization did not do their due diligence regarding the true address and phone numbers they looked up.

This has been going on for several years, and they will not stop. They even looked up my wife's cell phone number, called her at work, and told her someone else owned our house. They have the WRONG ADDRESS.

How stupid are they? I think a lawsuit is appropriate in this case for their negligence in in pursuit of this other person. Now that I have their address, I can pursue them in court.

Wow! Just got a call from these Fun People. Mr. Brown told my parents I have written bogus checks and going to serve me a summons. They mentioned a threat of "or we can just give her a court date." This is the second scammer in a month. I have no bogus checks out as I don't write checks. What is going on here? This is BS!!! My parents don't need this crap. Someone has to have my personal info that is a total crook!!! Please advise...
