Sounds nice!! What if the boss visits the website and read the famous stories about them.

I had a boss that would interview people for my job just to tick me off...He would even have me set up the appointments. LOL Our sales guy hated him too, so he would go into Gene's (Our boss)office and take his telephone and stick it down his pants and rub it around...Use your imagination. So every time Gene would use his phone, we'd both start laughing because we knew where it had been. I would go in his office and move things around to confuse him.

He also had a model of a ship in his office, that he *thought* was the Santa Maria..."An exact replica" he said......It was actually NOT..It was a model of a ship from some fiction book that has no historical value..It even had a plate on it with the actual name of it..I can't remember the name of it. LOL

He actually ended up getting in trouble 3 months after I left for embezzlement from our company. Apparently he had stole over 100,000 over 2 years.

About a year ago, my wife had been having pain in her stomach and right side for a few days. I had been off, bu was getting close to being called for work. She thought she might have to go to the hospital, so I was trying to get her to go before I got called ( I don't have a schedule, just get a two hour call to be there). If she went to the hospital I could get off for family illness, but if it happened after I went to work I knew it would be a nightmare. She insisted she was ok. Needless to say about 5 hours later I was called to work. I had gotten my train Almost all the way across our division of the railroad (about 110 miles), when she calls me and tells me she thinks shes will have to go to the hospital if she doesn't feel better soon. So I told my conductor about the conversation. He called the Corridor Manager (the manager over the Train Dispatchers , and in charge of making sure they have enough crews to keep trains moving. The Corridor manager told him to have me call him when we got to the away from home terminal in Clinton, IA. So I call him and explain the situation. He refuses to send me home , saying would be 14 hours on duty by the time I got back home (Federal law says 12 hours max, but there are qualifiers, and its flexible when convenient for the railroad). I explained that I would go on my own time if he would get me a transport and that we didn't have any trains coming for out assignment for almost 24 hours. He still refused, and said she should have gotten sick before I went to work, and what would I be able to do for her any way, and the I since I was at work, that was more important. Problem is when we get to the other end of the railroad we DON'T get paid for sitting around the hotel waiting for a train to take back home.

Here is the story that I just submitted. What do you think my chances are???

Quote:

Back in 96 I was a cashier for a MAJOR gas station chain, which was conveniently located on the the local strip for "the working girls". How fortunate for me, that my boss, who was the owner's brother, took a very special interest in padding the bras of those working girl's with the company's dollar.

OH, this boss of mine was truly special. While I was working, he would lock himself in the store room and smoke crack, and sometimes he would smoke crack back there while one of the working girls would be performing their "services". When he was "working", and I use that word quite loosely, he carried a styrofoam cup covered with a plastic lid and sipped brewsky's from a straw. He would take packs of cigarettes, AND lottery tickets and tell me to fudge the count, and yes he would even take cash out of my drawer!

One day his quite psychotic "baby mama", called the store while I was working looking for him. He was across the street at the local watering hole hanging with the working girls and every pimpaliscious gangsta in the city. When I told her that he was not in the store right now, she proceeds to tell me, that he had told her all about how I was in love with him, and that I needed to stop lying to her about his whereabouts. I said, "excuse you, you really have me confused with someone else!" After I hung up on her, I locked the store, walked over to the bar, and told him to call the crazy chic, and that he better keep her in check or he would be minus one cashier.

Of course not to long after that, I quit by no calling/no showing. It was the first time in my life that I had ever done that, but wouldn't you???

Yeah, he is managing his brother's other gas station on the other side of town. He did take a hiatus in Lebannon for a few months to beath that nasty crack addiction. When he came back he had packed quite a few pounds. I still get the creeps when I see him. His brother owns a whole bunch of gas stations in this city, so it seems I run into him or one of his brother's or cousins everywhere I go.
