My fiance got an extra visa card, with my name on it, on his own credit card account. He was not asked for my SS# when he signed me up. Therefore, I am just a user of the account and don't own it....right? Can a junk debt buyer/creditor find out I am listed on this account and sue my fiance or garnish his bank accounts, for an old debt they seem to think I owe them?

Your fiance should not be attached to your old debts in any way. He would only be responsible for debts you accrue together. Such as the Visa you just got. They cannot make him responsible for debts you have prior to your marriage, and you are not responsible for his. But, if you have any outstanding state or federal accounts, such as student loans, they can take your joint income/income tax if you file together. No other creditor would be allowed to touch anything of his to settle your old accounts.
