Does the fdcpa prohibits creditors from calling your place of business, or must a person write a letter to tell the creditor to stop calling at their workplace. Thanks.

under the fdcpa there are provisions for a Creditor in the manor that they attempt a collection. It is consider harassment for a creditor to contact you at any number other than a home number. A cease and desist letter is so they stop calling all togeather and any further communication must be provided in writting. Creditors are not allowed to call family members or your work place to obtain information about you.
