That number has been calling me for the past few days. I called back and got an answering machine. They are supposedly "Inteleservice, Canada". When I looked them up, they are located in Ontario, CA. This is supposedly a "call centre" with many "Fortune 1000" clients.
No matter what the reason they are trying to contact me, this is beginning to look like harassment.

Could be a scam
I got a call and they said that the were with "Columbia" and that I've ordered DVDs from them. The person I was talking with didn't seem like she knew what she was talking about. She kept saying they have a special offer for me, but couldn't say what it was!! She was even swearing on the phone with me, she said "This is all f...ed up!" Seemed very unprofessional and a little strange, so I hung-up on her. I am a member of Columbia House, so it could be real and she was having computer issues. Just be careful!

I called the number back and got a recording from Telus Canada. I gave my number again and said I wanted to know who is calling me and hanging up everyday. I then recieved another call from the same number that was a recording saying BMG was trying to contact me. I still get calls everyday and when I pickup it hangs up. I don't know how to stop the nuisance calls.

Ken, do you have a loan account with BMG? If the call done to you is with a legitimate purpose, ask them to send you the statement of your account. You need to review it before making any payment towards the account.

I found out a number for thise who keep receiving calls from the Business, it is in Canada but call 1-904-684-7273 and press 0 you will be sent to one of the operators and they can remove you from their calling list.

I get the same calls, I have called them back on may occasions to have them call me back by a real person. I have not yet gotten any returned calls. I just called my phone company, and they said I can block that specific number by *60. and to undo the block is *80. They promp for the number you want blocked/unblocked.

I've gotten them too, from the same number. The one time I was around to answer it it was BMG DVD club asking me if I wanted to buy any dvd's, which kind of annoyed me because I already belong to the club and order once in a while off their web site.
