Tell them you are using T&C and give them T&C's number. Sometimes they call or fax or mail it usually depends on the company/creditor. I know that they faxed a lot of my stuff when I first started with them and that worked out well. Good luck and keep us updated! Congratulations on taking the first step in controlling your life!

txtreasure, my suggestion is to forward the calls from the companies to your counselor. If you propose a payment plan and they don't accept it, they might not work with your counselor also since it is for the same account. Let one person only speak at a time. Moreover, you have hired a consolidation company for taking care of your accounts. So you will not like to spoil the matter, just in case.

Thank you I didnt know what I should do is all, I dont have a counselor per say she just said that someone from T & C would call me in a couple of days I just hope that the creditors will work with this program and if some of them dont then I guess I will deal with making that work too!

Wow, when a counselor contacted me, he told me it was up to me to contact the PDL's and they would just send out the letters. Then again, I was not contacted by T&C. When I get the calls I just tell them I'm having financial difficulties and that I am seeking credit counseling and they should have recieved or be receiveing the proposals. Sometimes they ask for my counselors name and number or sometimes they tell me to have the proposal faxed over. It all varies, but stay strong as you have a big battle ahead of you. I'm defaulting on 5 more this Friday and I'm already jumping at calls that have no ID...LOL

As far as what you should do txtreasure---I think it depends on the person. As you have read from these posts and others in the forum, everyone seems to have a different way of dealing with creditors/pdls. I personally did not want to deal with having to talk to them so I just keep refering them to T&C. I do get some that try and make other arrangements, Good luck and don't worry.
