CCCA is a good debt consolidation company. My aunt is enrolled in their program. Put a search here and you will get good feedbacks about them. Some creditors take time to accept the proposals. The counselors are trained enough to talk with these companies and they will make your accounts current. Go through your contract carefully and understand the terms and conditions thoroughly. You will like to have all your confusions cleared before starting in the program.

i made a down payment with hess kennedy and they already debited one months payment. in my situation, they are doing a debt settlement and not a consolidation. i faxed them a cease and desist letter to foward to my creditors, but am still receiving calls. the address on my welcome letter is different than on their website hesskennedycompany.com/ and what the BBB has on file. im starting to get worried. they dont make a proposal of payment to a creditor until i have enough funds set up in my "account" which i do not have access to. has anyone been with hess kennedy for a while now? im just starting but am having second thoughts, but i dont think they will refund me. thank you.

I just spoke with Hess Kennedy yesterday and the offer they made me seemed too good to be true.. I asked how they could be so low and they said because I am only paying them back 55% of the loans.. I was told that I should receive my paperwork by the end of next week and they will take my first payment of 108 per month for 20 months.. How is this company making any money off of me.. I mean they have to want some type of commision but so far have not asked for anything.

I started to go with Hess, but they wanted $500 a week for 3 weeks for their fee then I had to pay over $400 a monthfor 36 months. I called them and told them I could not afford that $1500 for a retainer fee? that's ridiculous. they do work with PDLS though, So I went with T&C.

I too have recently signed up with HK. I was referred by a friend. She said all her debts were settled in about 18 months. I'm reading over where people have bailed after only 3 or 4 months. My debts are about 20,000 and it seems it would take more then 3 or 4 months to settle just one debt let alone all of them. She said it took about 9 months for the first debt to be charged off. She explained that it took about 2 months for the creditors to stop calling and she didn't have to fill out a cease communication form. That the creditors had received the letters stating she was in the program with HK and the creditors stop calling but they did continue to report that she was no making payments and that did hurt her credit. Now she said she had a good experince with HK but is she only one? I have read over all the paper work HK sent me and I even had my neighbor who is an attorney read over them and he said that they appear to be on the up and up. Now having read through some of the postings on this site I'm beginning to think maybe my friend was the only person to have a good outcome using HK. Is this true. Can anyone out there let me know if they too had their accounts paid off too? And how long it took? Thanks!

I when through them and they with drew there retainer and now I found out that they are taking money out of the payment They take from me every month. I pay $378.76 and out of that they take $172.00 for there services. I thought that was what the $1255.00 was for that I paid then for a retainer fee. They are suppose to contact you when they reach an agreement with the card companies and I have been with them since April and have gotten nothing. I know that I will not get anything back if I drop them and then you have to pay the credit card co. all the late fees you have incurred.

stay with it. it takes time. also, yes, a certain portion of your monthly payment does go toward their fee for about 1/2 of the time you are enrolled, then after that, the entire portion goes into your trust.

I paid HK the 1500.00 fee, the next payment after that was suppose to go towards my "trust account." Its been two months since they have taken out $ to go towards my trust account, Im still getting calls, Im still getting letters, and now Im being served. HK has yet to return my calls. I just got gyped for 1500.00 when I could have paid off a bill or more. HK has BAD COMMUNICATION and I DO NOT TRUST THEM. If anyone knows who really can help let us know.
