Company/Individual reported: United Collection Bureau

At least 4 to 5 calls a day for the past few weeks, starting at 8 then 9 then 10;00 in the morning then in the afternoon also some at night as late as 9:30. I have tried to ask them what is the debt what was my last purchase and last payment. They say they cannot disclose that. The bill is supposed to be a credit card but I do not know which one. The amount due is 1635.73. Would anybody in their right mind just start sending payments to a company They never heard of, for a bill they are unaware of. I pay on several credit cards which I have used since 1990. There are so many scams out there I won't give info on the phone and when they did mail me something it was still vague. Not counting the rudeness of the woman who calls and said she will be forced to contact my relatives and neighbors. I really do not care who they talk to but I pity the other people who she deals with and they do care. Can I report this to the attorney gen or better business? If they want me to pay they should take me to court and prove I owe them dont you think? I am 68 with a bad heart, pacemaker, asthma, and a host of resp. problems. I get excited I cant breath. Though I have an oxygen tank it does not hepl when you find yourself talking to an idiot. I have taken to saying I'm not home. Or just not answering the phone. I have never dealt with such a rude fool before. my attorney said not to bother him till I get a letter from their lawyer, well that has not happened.I thank you I have vented. If there is an answer for all this I would like to know it. But I won't get excited doing anything about it. I hope my credit rating is 0000 as if it's good somebody would steal it. Or I would buy something I really don't need anyway and pay unreasonable interest besides. Thanks for listening Jeri Jo

I just started receiving phone calls from this place, they call my cell phone about twice a day. They were calling my job, but I immdiatly told them to stop. They told me they are collecting on my Sears account, which is now owned by citibank. I called sears to verify and they were legit.
