Most of us here have had a tough experience dealing with payday loans. I was reading an article in the BBB website. The Better Business Bureau along with the Federal Trade Commission encourages us to consider other options before deciding on a payday loan. Here are some valuable tips that can be implemented on all of us.

We need to shop carefully for credit. It is advised to consider a small loan from the credit union or a small loan company. If we have a healthy relation with our employer, we can approach them for an advance against our pay. Friends and family members can also be considered as an option. The ultimate point is to keep away from payday loans.

Request for more time from the creditors for paying the bills. The point is that you will come to know about the late charges, additional finance fees or a higher interest rate well in advance.

If you need advice on reframing your payment plan with the creditors or developing a budget, a debt counselor can offer you this service free or at a very nominal cost.

Finally, if you are searching for information on any company in your area, contact the local BBB. They will guide you in the right direction.

If we can work out in these directions, we won't have to depend on a payday loan during hard times.

My whole experience with online payday loans has caused me to be so suspicious of everything that comes in an email, except for personal email of course. But, people that are in really desperate need of money don't usually think clearly or have the time to thoroughly check out the company they seek a PDL from. Many times friends and family have already been used so the situation is made even more desperate and the person looks for a way out without asking friends or family.

The obvious solution would be to not get in a financial bind initially, but life does not work that way.Thank you for posting the article excerpts.

What is the point of enjoying luxuries and vacations if we don't have money to serve food in the table. I as an individual, try to save some money for vacations once a year. But if I am having hard times in living most part of the year, will that vacation do any good to me? Never!!

The main thing is to learn the art of budgeting your finance. Shopping endlessly and going out for dinners and vacations adds to the list of routine expenses. If we can cut off a considerable portion from those expenses, we will save a lot at the end.
