DebtCC layout is changed

Hey Vikas, it looks great. I feel a little "off" with the switch to the right side but I'm a lefty so everything on the right is backwards to me. Keep up the great work! :)

For some reason on some pages I don't get all the links to the side. I like having the "new posts" part without having to dig through each topic, but I don't get that option on all pages anymore.

Only one problem..When I read a thread, the box that has all the member options and recent forum topics covers part of it. Also, when I first log on and click posts since last visit that box covers part of the list.

The links page (the right side of the page) covers up some of the posts - the alignment is off or something. Other than that, I have not found any other problems.

I use Mozilla at home but can't log on from there for some reason! I've even cleared out my cookies and temporary internet files, but I still can't log on. So I'm stuck here at work using IE with monitor settings at 1024 x 768 pixels.

OH - I changed my pixels and it fixed the problem - so disregard my earlier post!

I'm still having problems..I checked my settings, and they were 1024 x 768, but I have no idea what niggly sidebars are or how to check and see if I'm using them..Help!

Oh yeah..Another question..What is the "online contacts" thing? I clicked on it a couple of times, but it always took me back to where I was before.

Thanks. I got your pm, but I don't have a sidebar. I checked on my settings again, they keep going back to the old ones..Every time I try to change them they go back. This is getting really frustrating, because it's REALLY difficult to use this site. What do I do? LOL, I'm pretty computer stupid...

I use internet explorer, I'm not sure which version..Whichever came with Window's XP...and it's all the settings that came with it..I never change anything because I'll break it..lol I can look better later if it's not enough info.

Are you using home or professional XP? More than likely you are using internet explorer 6. That is what I am running and I am using professional and it has alot of problems.

I'm using internet explorer, windows 98, cable internet. My problem is still the same, the box on the right covers some of the posts. I tried changing my settings, but it didn't work.

Fins - your problem may be windows 98. Is there anyway you can update?? I'm not having problems at all and I'm using XP, the "side bar" is a little slow popping in sometimes but overall my left side is getting used to being lonely. :wink: I guess we're all just like the world and don't adapt to change well!!

I'm wrong..I'm using 2000. This is awful!! I am getting used to the sidebar covering things, but I still don't like it! And my sidebar definitely isn't slow..It's there right away.

Still can you update at all? I think that 2000 had lots of issues and that may be the problem. Anyway you can get ahold of a newer version of windows and load it? I'm sorry to hear about your trouble, it must be very frustrating!!

It's VERY frustrating...I think we could probably get something newer, but I have never ever had any computer issues at all..This is a first, I am tearing my hair out.

My menu box covers up parts of posts at the top of the page, and it takes FOREVER to load up.

I can't see how it can possibly matter if you want to put the wide DIV on the right and the small one on the left and how it can help load faster. Browsers draw top to bottom but buffer content so the page is ready before being displayed.

I also cannot see how the test group liked right menu's when most popular sites use left menus.

Everything works fine for me. I just cannot see a change for the sake of changing something.

I prefer the old format and it even drew quicker.

I am using windows XP is that my op system? I can't stand this right side thing---all of my posts are partially covered and it makes it so hard to read.

aha..so it's not my operating system that's causing the problems if Lorri is having the same issues and she uses XP.

Try reducing your text size. I haven't had any problems with the new format. ALso I use firefox instead of Internet Explorer.

No good. I just tried changing my text size. I've actually tried to change every setting you can imagine. I'm going to install mozilla, and see what happens there.

Hey-you changed things around when I was gone!!Things were turned around,though I'd developed Dyslexia there for a minute :lol: The only problem is that my column is half cut off too,sometimes. Maybe it's just me,not too computer smart!Keep up the good work :D ...Karen

No Karen---its not just you---I still have a messed up screen and it is FRUSTRATING!!!!!

Yep, me too. I've ruled everything out..It's not my operating system, it's not my text size..I've changed every setting that can be changed and NOTHING helps.

Well, Michelle if someone young like you can't figure it out---then it must not be US.

LOL, thank you Lorri, I needed that. For some reason my 7-year-old can't remember that I'm 32..Not 39. Maybe I should ask HIM what's wrong with the computer.
There's strength in numbers..Between all of us, someone should be able to figure it out..I hope.

I will make an option for the layout. I think that will solve the problem.
