What companies go under Global Financial? I had their legal dept contact me, the lady was far from nice...saying they are out of Utah and use those laws. I'm not familiar with all of this legal stuff on these payday loans so I'll admit, she made me a little nervous. I'm not sure where to go from here. All I have for this lady, who has told me that she is not in Customer Service but the Legal Dept. I'm in the state of Texas, someone please help me on how to respond to this please!!!! Thanks so much!

OOPS, I read your list to fast...I have one with them alos that I defaulted on Friday. I haven't heard anything from them yet. I did however log into my account with them online and it didn't say contact us or anything it just had my next payday listed as my next payment date with the same amount that was supposed to come out last Friday.

So maybe it could be them.

I defaulted Friday also and just heard from them today. The lady was from the legal dept and was very nasty. I was reciting the laws of Texas, and she says they go by Utah laws and pretty much wouldn't listen to me from there. When I asked her if she received my letters regarding that they overcharged in fees, she quickly stated she was not in customer service but in legal. She said my loan was due in full and hung up on me.

I'll wait until tomorrow to respond to them....The guy who emailed me is Tim Atkins with Branch Manager under his name.

Has anyone got any satisfaction from Cashnet500/Global Financial? I have emailed and faxed them my letter and haven't heard anything from them. I know I have overpaid in fees and is requesting a refund, but no response. It has been two weeks. Has anyone in this forum gotten a refund from them?
