I'm sick and tired of getting regular computer operated messages from zenith acquisition. I've even waited to talk to someone on the line and get no where. How does one get off their damn list????

Ko

As per the federal laws, the collection agencies can contact you along with the details only when they have a valid debt account. Send a cease and desist letter to the company's mailing address and make your legal approach stronger. Since your letter will be read by some authorized person, ask him to remove your name from the computer generated system so that these calls can be stopped. Mention the point that after receiving the cease and desist letter, it is their responsibility to stop all the calls from coming at your end. Otherwise, you will be forced to take legal actions against them.

Paid collection is a negative entry and stays in your report for 7 years from the date of occurrence. You cannot get it removed before the scheduled time.

If you want documentation of the payment made, you need to contact your creditor/collection agency who received your payment. And if your report is showing paid collection that means you paid it, right?

On numerous occasions I have requested, in writing, for Zenith Acquisition to send me proof of their claim. I know I don't owe them money because I never had a credit card with the bank they state issued to me. How can I get them to either delete the data from my credit report or supply me with proof of the claim. I have already tried disputing it with the credit bureaus and Zenith claims the debt valid.

Hi Theresa

Send a cease and desist letter to Zenith Acquisition and force them to stop calling you. Because you don't owe them anything, any call made after receiving your cease and desist letter will result legal actions for violations of the fdcpa law.

About 8 months ago I paid off a debt with zenith acquisition. I can not get them to send me any documentation pertaining to the debt or the payment I made, despite several phone calls requesting such. I am still having the feeling I have been scammed.

Is there any action I can take to get my money back from them?

As my previous post states, the NY DOS database did have information for Zenith Acquisition Corp. and Zenith Acquisition Consulting, LLC.

If that isn't what you were asking, I apologize. Your posts aren't making much sense to me.

I don't want to go "round & round" I am just trying to figure out what I can do since I paid them and they won't send me any documentation/proof.

I was hoping that by stating that they are indeed coming up on that search, maybe someone here could offer some advice or at least explain to me what their being registered means to me trying to take action, since I obviously don't know what it means or what to do.

I don't work for anyone right now. I am a student trying to get some help.

Dear Mr & Mrs Mandafay;

Please accep my sincere apologies for being abrupt this evening. My day started at 530 am this morning hunting down a stateside collections thats using a cellphone only to communicate with people, three UK based operations & one down in Costa Rica that I've jumped, ducked & rolled through 100 miles of governmental redtape obstical course to get to.

My apologies again, please.

Contact your AG's Office in Ohio, I don't have much time to research your consumer laws there & contact the NY AG's office about them also. Um, 11 PM, gotta be up ahead of the chickens to get a few things done.

Goodnight, god bless

:)

I have a collection on my credit reports from Zenith Acquisitions that is not valid. I saw your post to send a cease & desist letter, I think? The credit bureas won't remove it, I spent over 80 minutes on the phone to speak with some slick willy guy that said it was a valid debt yet I've never received and invoice nor will they provide one. This is terrible, can I sue in small claims court local and make them present their case?

they state they are collecting a debt for a credit card I could not pay. My credit report shows it has been written off by the card company. So, it seems to me - Zenith is getting the money not the credit card company. I have been dealing with these folks for sometime and they have never been nice to me on the phone always pushy, rude and impolite. So, what do you think? I want to know do I Really owe them.

Zennith also nailed me on my CR with a debt that is not mine. Whats worse is it was a bad check with all the other persons info on it.. Name (same as mine) address, phone, bank etc. I wrote to have it removed from my credit report and the agency said that after investigation the information was found to be correct.
This is crazy!! What was the investigation? "Hey zennith are you sure this is right? Ok, cool"
How can they get away with something like that. :x

I have also been fighting an entry on my credit report for a credit card that I never had and now it has gone to an attorney and they are trying to garnish my wages and I never had the card nor do I owe the debt.

I made a payment on a debt to Zenith Acquisition, they told me they would send a receipt. I never received one. Then I told them I would make a second final payment once I received the receipt. They withdraw the money from my account and I never got the receipt. I have now made multiple calls and requests for a reciept over the past week and they keep promising my they will send it by fax, but I am not receiving it. I am scared all my money is gone without resolving a debt that is on my credit. What can do????

I have received collection notices from this "acquisition corp." for debts that I never accrued. Each time, they include a "settlement offer". Do not send them this money, they are not a legit company. IT'S A SCAM!!! Do not let them scam you. Do not give them your information

Well, that's certainly enlightening.

Let me see... You bust in here, all thud and blunder. SHOUTING at people, calling names, poor spelling, and such. Yeah, that'll make a positive first impression every time.

Go back to hanging out on **** sites. Nobody here believes your drivel.

I have never received any sort of correspondance from them, but yet there was an entry on my credit report. A year ago I sent them a validation letter. No response. Foolishly, I sent it regular mail. I disputed the entry on my credit after a while; they responded to the agency confirming. I sent a validation letter again...this time registered. Someone signed for it, so I am waiting for a response. The clock is ticking.

As a side note, the address on my credit report was:

220 John Glenn Drive #1
Amherst, NY 14228

However, upon furthur review I found this address:

170 Northpointe Pkwy - Ste 300
Amherst, NY 14288

So, I sent two letters...one to each address. The same person signed for both, so we will see what happens!

I was getting calls from Zenith about a debt somebody else owed. Not my name, just my phone number. So I called 1 (800) 479 6011 and asked to be removed from their list. Which they said they did. We will see if I get any more calls.

The second phone number listed takes you into the owners office, to get to a floor agent you need to call 866-749-6011

I wrote to Zenith Acquisition Corp because they had been reporting negative information on my credit report, and the mail was returned undelivered. When you call the office, no one answers. I have disputed this account because this account was paid in full many years.

This Corp needs to investigated by the Law.

Dear Zenith Acquisition:
This is a request that my15 October 2009 payment of $50.00 be deferred until 31 October 2009 as I have been furloughed from my current position until the beginning of the new fiscal year. Your understanding in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Thomas G. Trainor
