Consolidation too pricey?

Don't be discouraged, Amy. I didn't use T&C, but a lot of people on this site had a lot of success with them. Did you tell them that this was too much for you to handle..Maybe they can jiggle some numbers, or stretch the plan from 9 months to 1 year.
Don't give up..See if they can change things for you. If not, there are other options for you. Good luck, let us know what you find out.

I do not know what is taken into account Amy---I am with T&C and I can't remember. However, some months I am not able to send the full amount and here is what T&C told me as I asked what if I can't send that amount? They said if you can't then some of the creditors don't get paid that month, not that this is recommended of course. They also did say if you send in some money each month you can't be removed from T&C's program. I would call them and talk to them Monday.

I haven't completely given up.
What I wonder is if they also take into account the fact that I have a car payment, insurance...etc...I will check again Monday and see what they say when they have all my income info. I have also spoken with another consolidation company. The clock is ticking and I am trying SO HARD not to have to get a 5th PDL!! :cry: .

If you feel like you absolutely have to get another PDL then stick nails in your skin, tear your eyelashes out, bang your head into the wall repeatedly..Any of those things are less painful than a payday loan. DO NOT get another one!!
Relax...Things are going to work out for you.

Believe me I don't WANT to do it but when the gas tank is on empty, I have two mouths to feed for for the next week and don't get paid til Friday when I start the PDL shuffle all over again....I may not have another choice.
I am really, really trying not to have to do it though :cry: .....

All my loans are storefront and so far appear to be on the up and up as far as the VA. laws read. Aside from a possible consolidation, I don't know what the heck to do!

Amy...do you have anyone to borrow a couple bucks from??? Perhaps a friend?
How about the local church? Can they help you with food?
Can you have a yard sale? Sell some clothes on consignment, or jewelry?
I have done ALL of the above to prevent me from taking another pdl, including pawning some jewelry...that made me cry! But I got them out on the next payday for a nominal fee..$5.00..much more palatable then the 10000% interest on pdls!

I did have a yard sale several weeks ago.
Didn't help much at all, though.

I have no jewelry to pawn or I'm sure I'd have done that already.
Oh if only those Plasma places paid more! :lol:

So it looks like Friday I will do the PDL shuffle again and pray to be able to make my car payment.

I couldn't get back in touch with the T&C today, but will try to do that tomorrow when the boss is in court all day 8) .
