Does anyone have contact information for B&L Marketing? That is how the withdraw comes from my account, but I have no idea where to find an 800# for them.

I am a new member as of yesterday, and I have to add this website is so helpful and encouraging! Good luck to everyone!

I have encountered them. Actually I found this website when I just started my search regarding this company. What they do is call you. By calling you they do not provide anything in writing. If this is nothing in writing and no request for payment, how do you pay them off within the first payment cycle.. You can't! I am interested to see what else I find.

I tried to contact the company directly by phone and email yesterday but I haven't received a response yet. PLEASE HELP!!!!

First of all, WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN. Debt collectors cannot threaten you to collect a debt. It is illegal. Document the caller's name the company name, the time of the call. Keep a record of every call you receive from them. Write them a letter stating you will only deal with them in writing. Site the Inappropriate collection practice in the letter. Including the caller's name and date and time of call. Mail this letter signature receipt. Outline in the letter your plans for repayment for what you know is your debt and include a small payment in the letter.

This does two things. First of all, Legally they cannot call you if you request that they contact you by mail only. The request must be in writing. They cannot deny that they did not receive your request because you will have a signed receipt from a member of their organization. They will have also accepted a payment and plan from you in writing. They signed for this when they accepted the letter containing payment.

There is a possible setback. The company could refuse to sign for your letter. BUT... You will then have proof that you had made attempts to work with the company that were refused. You can then report them to the FTC and will have legal documentation that will protect you in a court of law. These guys have to show that they have exhausted all avenues to receive repayment before turning to the courts. Refusal of communication shows they did not fulfill that obligation.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
