I am getting ready to default on Friday of this week. How long did it take for them to contact you and how did they contact you? Thanks and God bless you

I defaulted with them on 6/30 and I got an email from them on 7/5/06 stating they were having problems with my checking account and to please contact them. I didn't respond and on 7/7/06 I received a missed call from them, they didn't leave a message though. I called the number back private and that is how I found out who it was. I faxed them a letter stating not to call me at work so I haven't had that problem yet. Haven't heard anything since last Friday.

I will be defaulting with them on Friday as well. I had a 350.00 loan and have only paid 105.00 so far. I will be sending them a letter with a payment plan but I have one company that I actually owe which is Paydayavenue so I think that I will put them with T&C. I called them today. Polly helped me with writing letters to the other places that I paid so much interest on I think they owe me! I will let you know if I get a call.

Hey everyone I was a conplete moron and took out several loans... Now I'm getting ready to pay them all back. however I'm having a bit of a problem. I cant find the number to the most recent loan company anywhere and they didn't give it to me when i signed up. when I look at my bank statement it shows VC FUNDING FEE DEPOSI but it won't state the company's name

I faxed and sent this company letters stating do not contact me at work only by email and my personal number. So what do I get today at work...a phone call from what she said was their Pre-Legal dept. The first thing she started off by saying is "I know your at work but.....blah blah" They didn't even bother trying to contact me by my personal number...I didn't even start a conversation with her, I just asked for a number to call her back on and after she gave it to me I hung up.

I am still trying to get Cashnet to come to an agreement with me. I faxed them a letter and emailed them and they still do not want to enter in an agreement. So I guess I will have to contact my AG here in Indiana and see what happens from there. From my experience with them, they are very hard to deal with, but so far the calls have stopped. I don't know what that means, but I'm glad that. Has anyone got any kind of settlement from Cashnet?

They're terrible...the only way they called was when I gave them a number to call for payment arrangements. I ended up giving them the number to the State's investigator, and this guy Tim from cashnet actually called him! lol
The investigator said he probably won't bother you again since he had a "chat" with him! lol
Haven't heard from them since.

This place is really going to tick me off...
I've sent them two letters and told the lady who called my job yesterday..DO NOT CALL ME AT WORK. I work in a close environment with cubilces and everybody can hear everybodys business. I told them what number to call me at and the I had to go.

I told them I was set up in a consolidation program and that I have every intention of paying them off.
Another thing, she asked me if I could go to a gas station and get a pre-paid debit card to use to pay them off or do I have a credit card number that I could give her. I told her I didn't have 460 to put on a pre-paid card to pay them off, If I did we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

I dealt with them. I sent various letters, stating to them that I had paid $555 on a $300 loan with $105 fee. Here is a copy of my SEVERAL conversations with them:

What does "Good luck" mean? This is turning into a very unprofessional conversation with you, and I would appreciate cordiality from you as someone I am doing business with.

Again, please respond to my request in writing.

Thank you and have a good day,
Traci Canales

No, I will not discuss anything over the phone. I want all future communication to be in writing, as per the advice of both my consolidation company and my legal counsel. I am to get all future correspondence with you in writing.

Why has my account been forwarded to your Fraud Deptartment? There has been no fraud commited except by your company for operating over the internet without being licensed to lend in Texas.

Again, please respond with your decision in writing.

Thank you,
Traci Canales

As per the letter I sent to you, I am only accepting contact via email or USPS. You can either repspond to this email with the decision you have made to mark my account PAID IN FULL, or through USPS mail, or you can choose to not respond, and I will begin filing complaints with the BBB, and my state Attorney General as stated in the letter.

Thank you,
Traci Canales

You have not responded to my email. I would just like to clarify and give some exact numbers.

Since January 31, 2006, which is as far back as I have my bank records, I have paid your company a total of $555.00 in fees. Because your fee amounts exceed the legal limit in my state, and probably in the state where you operate, and because you are not lisenced to do business in my state, as the previous email states, I would like this account closed and marked PAID IN FULL, as I have paid well over the amount loaned, $300 AND the $105 finance charge. Also, please place me on your DO NOT LOAN list, as I wish to have no further business with your company after this account is closed.

Thank you,
Traci Canales[/quote]

I eventually filed a complaint with the BBB on them, after receiving that last email. It was closed recently due to the company not responding to any of the BBB's contact attempts.

Be careful with them. I am paying them through T&C...but have received calls from collection agencies about this account, even though they are accepting my money through T&C!

FinsFan -

Yeah. And get this. I sent those bozos both a fax and a certified letter. (I also sent them an e-mail with the Word document attached.)

The certified letter just came back today. They never "accepted" the letter. I guess that's one to deal with it. Just ignore it. Amazing.

Rick,

They did the same thing to me with my first certified letter I sent to them but the second one made it through. They never have replied to any of my correspondence and it's been going on ten months. It's weird that they will respond to some and not to other. I even replied back to one of the e-mail they sent to me but they never replied back to that. Go figure!

I actually went default with them for about 3 mths. First, I got a email stating there was a problem with my checking account. I then called 1-800-654-7444 and spoke with a very, very nice gentleman called Hal Krieger @ ext. 851. He was very calm and really took the time to understand me. My total balance on the loan was $570, and he actually closed it out with me paying $250. He is the one to talk to about defaulting....

Cashnet contacted me within two days after they payment came back to them. I have placed them with T&C and they have agreed to allow me to pay them each month for a certain amount.

I am going to tell you right now. They will call you on your job and contact your employer (yes, they called mine) and will harass you via email even after they have gotten paid by T&C.

But you will pay them off and you will be through with them. I have paid off one payday loan so far because I worked out the arrangements and they were very happy and so was I.

I have a payday loans also and It's the biggest mistake I ever did. I have defaulted on all of them now. I can't afford it anymore. All my paycheck is going towards it. Big mistake. I am considering payday loan consolidation. They are harrassing me at work. My manager even told them not to call anymore, personal calls are not allowed. They will not stop. I feel embarassed and I want to quit my job. I live in California. What is T & C? Any suggestions for payday loans consolidation....
