Responses to Letters...

I first want to thank everyone for all the information that is provided and shared on this site.
I have so far gotten two of my accts. Zero'd out after sending them the letter.
They were from Zip Cash and National Opportunities.
There are several that I haven't heard anything from and I'm no longer getting any emails or calls from any of them either.
I'm wondering if they closed them out on their own and are just not responding, because National Opportunities closed my account out after I sent them the letter the first time, but when I didn't hear back from them, I sent it a second time and at that time, the manager emailed me back and advised that the account had already been closed after the first letter. I didn't know because I didn't get a reply.
I'm wondering if they are closing the accounts and not replying. I'm in the state of GA and I don't think that they can try and take me to court over this because Pay Day Loans are illegal here and I've paid them well over what was owed.
If anyone has any info about loans being closed and not receiving a reply, let me know and also if you are in GA, if they have tried to take you to court behind PDL's.
Thanks...
I think the company must try to contact for once and request pay
I think the company must try to contact for once and request payments. Legal actions can take place only after the person fails to pay the debt. Just imagine, how they will prove in the court that you were not paying the debt without notifying you in advance. And, the important point is that the company needs to be licensed for lending in the state of the borrower. But this point can be overlooked for a while if the debt is legitimate. So, my suggestion is to contact the companies and know the status of the accounts. Once they are paid off and you have it in writing, you will be free from all the hassles in case the account is sent to the collections.
