I had 5-6 payday loans---I defaulted on these loans--guess I dont have to explain why--also, I am in between jobs--all were very nice to make arrangements except one---HE IS THREATENING A WARRANT FOR THEFT BY DECEPTION--i tried to make an arrangement but he said I have 2 days to come up with money--and i dont have any I really dont. I start my new job soon--gave him the date I could pay which is the 4th of august. But he continues to threaten. Anyone ever heard of this, what should I do??

I got a phone call the other day with the man Threatening arrest for bank fraud. The police would be waiting for me at my job. Said he worked for a law office, did not let me speak... I had to file a compliant with the AG of Florida. Do you remember what he said and who he worked for?

I'm so glad I found this site! I just recently fell into the "payday loan trap", and am now dealing with a lender who is claiming he will have me arrested for bank fraud if I don't pay. I am more than willing to pay what is owed, but cannot afford to pay it all at once due to the staggering new fees tacked onto the loan. How do I find out what they can and cannot do to me in PA? They absolutely refuse to make arrangements or take less than full payment. Any responses will be greatly appreciated!
