paying a CA

I am going to send the CA $30 a month... but I read not to send them a check because they'll know your bank account info. But if I send a money order, how would I know if they cashed it? Is there a traceable way to do this, I'm really tired of getting burned.

When you send a money order, the post office will give you a receiver code ID of the company. This code will be used by them to get your money. Tell the person in the post office that you want to send a money order to this company and he will guide you in the process. Keep the receipt in safe place as this will your only proof of the money sent to the CA. Also, send a letter to the CA that a money order has been sent by you in an attempt to clear the debt. This will be for your records.

Money orders have serial numbers and the issuing company can verify if one has been deposited or not. It isn't as convenient as your own checking account (some companies take as long as 60 days to "research" the money order) but they can be traced in the event of a dispute.
Another alternative is Western Union Quick Collect, which is more expensive than a money order (though a lot cheaper than a wire transfer). The money is delivered in about 2 hours and proof can be more easily obtained from Western Union than most other companies.

Only problem with Western Union is the CA can claim they didn't receive the money. I have read posts here of people who have sent money this way, then the CA denied recevieng it even though the person has the MTCN# showing the transaction was completed.

The legit businesses posts it to your account when they receive it. It is the crooked ones that screw people over by claiming that they didn't receive the payment.

Well they better not screw me over. I sent them everything that I have today.
