Does anyone happen to know what this number is? 1-877-255-2778? I just got off the phone with a Taylor Rye and only thing she would say is that is was a pre-litigation department..

It sounds like your account is with a collection agency. Call them back and ask them to send you something in writing about the account they are collecting for. You need to have more information in writing before sending any payment. If this sounds to be a collection agency, the federal laws of debt validation must be followed in legal terms. The written information must be sent within 5 days after placing the first phone call. Here is the federal rule.
