Okay, I recieved "paid in full" status on both of these loans, and I paid about $400 over in total even if I include a fee and one late fee. Should I continue to ask for a refund or just let it go?

Good to hear that you got the PIF letter from both these loan companies. Now you are assured that no CA will bully you later and attempt to collect from these accounts since you have the valid proof. Asking for a refund from these companies doesn't hurt if you have paid more than the reasonable charges. But these companies will portray that you still have a due with them. You have to build a very strong ground, perhaps backed by your attorney to claim for a refund. I will be happy at this point after getting the PIF letter. See if you can get more success on them.

Well originally I was going to sign up with TC but I was looking around and came across Superior Debt Services. I've read some things about the company in the forum. I'm really not sure what way to go. I still have two online payday loans places I need to pay back and 3 storefront ones that I haven't defaulted on yet and two small credit cards. Does Superior work with payday loan places also?

I would not try to push for a refund. I did and it turned out to be a nightmare for me for awhile. This company, United Cash Loans, doesn't follow any law except the ones they make up in their heads. Also, follow what Tammy suggested and keep copies of these in a safe place. Congrats!!
