Is this Capital One, or a collection agency? I keep getting a call from this number, up to 10 times a day. I'm not answering, Superior Debt Services has advised me not to answer any calls that may be from my credit cards or collection agencies.

'Christian Service'?? Why in the heck would they be calling me 10 times a day? They never leave a message on my answering machine, and sometimes will hang up after 3 rings. I may answer just one time to see what it is, and if it's not a CC or CA, then I'm telling them to take myname off their list!

SDS won't even talk to the CC's or CA's until we have made them a 3rd payment, which isn't until Sept. Which is why I'm paranoid about all the calls. Between that number, and Providian, I get 3-4 calls an hour.

Thanks for the help!
C

Suggestion???keep yourself anonymous and call the company from a payphone. When the lady picks up the phone, tell her that your friend (which is you) is getting endless calls from their company and they should take off their name from their system. You will get to know about their company and the reason they are calling for.

Wow, Michelle5648, that is very harsh. Did you ever stop to think that maybe some of us owe money because we lost our jobs, or our husband had a heart attack and couldn't work for 2 months? Did you ever think that maybe something bad happened to some of us that caused us to fall into financial hardship? I don't know about you, but where I live, St Louis, we've lost 3 MAJOR employers in the last 5 years--TWA, Ford, and Chrysler. TWA, my old employer, was bought out and we were all laid off. Ford and Chrysler had to close plants because everyone is buying foreign cars nowadays. Things happen sometimes that are beyond our control, and it is not your place to talk down to us as if you have never made a mistake of had something bad happen.
