Let me start by telling you I am really really sick..My chest hurts, I've been running a temp, and I am congested.

So needless to say, I did not want to go into work this morning. I don't work weekends, but the hourly employees where I work had a ton of overtime this last week, and I had some serious paperwork to catch up on. So..I went in for an hour.

My office has been smelling bad the past couple of days. We had some mice problems last week, and I figured one died in there. So on Thursday and Friday I searched for that dead mouse, and found nothing. So today I go in with some air freshener and plug-in. It reeked in there..Unspeakably. So I started searching again for the mouse. I finally opened an overhead file, and sitting on a pile of papers was a mouse..staring at me. I stared back..It didn't move. I figured it was dead. So I got a plastic bag and summoned up all my courage, took a deep breath, and wrapped it up. Fighting the need to puke I carried it out of the building and to the industrial dumpster. I went back in, scoured my hands, and went back to work. The smell in my office was slowly getting worse. A guy who works down the hall was in today too, and he walked past and told me he knew I was there because you could smell my office as soon as my door was opened. I turned to yell at him, and I hit the space heater under my desk with my foot. It was not a work day, so I was wearing sandals. Well, when I hit the heater..A dead mouse fell out. Right onto my bare foot. It was beyond dead..It was..well..It didn't look so good.

Anyway..It took me awhile to calm down. The guy from down the hall took care of the dead THING for me. I scrubbed my foot. Then I realized..That was the second mouse I found. I told my friend this, and he laughed..He said he'd planted the rubber mouse there because I spent so much time searching last week. I really hope my day gets better..

Hi Fins,

How are you?

I may shiver feeling the experience you went through. I remember taking my brother and his wife to a food park nearby. It's a very good place to chill out and the food served is also very mouth watering. We all were enjoying a lot and talking, talking since we met after so many years. The mood was very nice until my brother's wife saw a huge rat at the floor passing by. She screamed all of a sudden. Everyone got scared what actually happened with her. She told about the rat and got very scared of it. We were in the middle of our dinner and couldn't leave the table. Guess, she kept her legs over mine all the time under our table. The meal was good enough but she never could concentrate on it. Every time, we were talking with her and her eyes were on the floor searching for the rats. She is very scared of them. Imagine, if they are in the floor, they run in the kitchen shelves also. I don't know if they attack on the eatables. But that's a very bad thing to happen.

Hey Andy!! Where ya been?

That is a GROSS story! There is no way I could eat. I hope you didn't pay for the food. That is just sick. Depending on my mood, I may've stood up and made a very loud announcement.

I am not a girly-girl by any means. I am very athletic, and I absolutely love snakes and have always wanted a pet bat or tarantula. Not a whole lot gets me..Except dead things and mice. Put 'em together and I'm done.

Ew yuck. I hate mice. Wild mice anyway..Pet store mice aren't so bad because they're in a cage, and not running around my house.

We get the occasional mouse at my house and it makes me ill. When we picked this house 14 years ago, the field behind us sounded nice--That meant we had more privacy since no one would be living directly behind us. But mice live in fields..And when it gets cold they look for a warmer home. Our neighbors have probs with it too...We've plugged every hole we can find in this place with steel wool, but they still get in somewhere..I think it's under the bathtub in the plumbing, but after the hassle we went through replacing that bathtub I'm not about to pull it out again..noooooooo way.

Fins-hope you are feeling better.Reminds me of the time my shuband and I were at this really nice hotel, it was cold so I looked in the drawer for a blanket. Well,This mouse was on the blanket, but I swear it looked like a toy one. So I reached down to pick it up thinking some kid left it there, well it was alive when I grabbed it,I screamed loud,it ran,and I washed my hands a thousand times over. Fell better soon...Karen
