Hey everybody... A little piece of info on RIO.aka to many to list. It makes me tired. These people are like secret agents or something. Well anyway they are now saying they are a indian nation and therefore are exempt from US law. I think I laughed so hard I blew a gasket. KYSIDE38. This is a true story they responded in a letter stating this.


Sue the scary part is they might get by with it. They have cheated so many people under so many names. They definately are United Cash, ameriloan, 500 Fast Cash it just blows my mind. KYSIDE38

Last week I found from my research that they are on a Reservation and Reservations's are exempt from State Laws. BUT! THEY ARE NOT EXEMPT from Federal Laws. The FBI's website has a whole topic about crime on Indian Lands. I spoke with an Agent in Tulsa on Friday and they are very interested in seeing all paperwork on Rio Resources! If anyone wants the address let me know. I'm getting all my paperwork together this week and sending it out.

Excuse me, but wouldn't it make sense to have a sticky thread listing all the new information on these places? Since most of use deal with these same companies, is pm'ing the address beneficial to all that are dealing with thse people? No disrespect intended but there is way too much pm'ing of information that would be useful to the mojority of posters seeking solutions. I mean, simply searching the forums, you get so much conflicting and jumbled info, a sticxky thread would quickly relieve the repeat threads and confusion.

Just a humble suggestion

Tammy, yes the Federal Laws override the Indian Reservation Laws. The FBI watches the Reservations very closely. When I spoke with them last week I asked if they knew any Tribal Officials up by Miami Ok and they did not. I think this is something new that these companies are going to try to start doing. It needs to be stopped before it gets out of hand. I have the address to send the complaints to if anyone wants it. Just let me know.
